SSC CHSL Tier-1 Exam Revised Guidelines for Exam Day

Due to outbreak of Caronavirus, the SSC authorities had released the new exam day guideline for the candidates. The Guidelines will be taken into consideration in the upcoming Exam of SSC CHSL 2020.

  • No Bio-metric Registration of the candidates will be conducted. However, the thumb impression of the candidates is mandatory for the Commission Copies and Attendance Sheets.
  • Candidates can bring their own masks in the examination hall. But candidates have to remove the masks for taking the photographs at the Registration Desks. These photographs can be used by the Commission for verification during subsequent Tiers of the examination.
  • Candidates can bring their own hand sanitizers (small size) and water bottles (transparent/ see through).
  • Candidates can bring their own ball pens (having transparent outer cover). Translucent pens are not allowed.
  • The Commission has also issued necessary instructions to its Service Provider for cleaning/ sanitizing frequently used objects such as mouse/ keyboards/ tables/ door handles, etc. before the start of each shift of examination in the larger interest of the candidates.

In order to qualify in Tier-1 Exam and to be Selected for Tier-2 Level you need to Follow the basic Tips during preparation. Here We mention Them.

English language Test
  • Read and practice at least one comprehension per day as it is a vital part of the English section.
  • Read the entire passage once. After that, practice reading the question first and then looking up the passage for the answer- it will be quicker.
  • For cloze test, try and understand the logic behind the passage and what the most suitable phrase for the blank seems. If you fill one blank correctly, you can find the answers for the rest easily.
  • For synonyms and antonyms practice new sets of words every day by referring the dictionary or making note of words you hear or read around you.
General intelligence and reasoning
  • Keep practicing the puzzles and number games to get habituated with such questions.
  • Practice the patterns you find in previous years questions as they are often repeated.
