SSC JSA/LDC Vacancy Details 2025/2026
The Commission has announced a total of 49 tentative vacancies for the recruitment year 2025 under the CSCS Cadre. Category-wise details will be notified by the commission in due course.
Pay Scale: Pay Level-2 Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200).
Eligibility Criteria for SSC JSA / LDC LDCE
Since this is a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, it is only open to specific regular government employees who satisfy the following criteria:
1. Length of Service & Status
Applicants must be a permanent or regularly appointed temporary Group ‘C’ employee having a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.
Must have rendered not less than 3 years of regular service as a Group ‘C’ employee as of the crucial date (1st August 2025).
2. Educational Qualification
The candidate must have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognized Board or equivalent.
3. Type-writing Test
Candidates must pass one of the periodical type-writing tests conducted by the SSC or Department of Official Language.
Minimum Typing Speed: 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on a manual typewriter OR 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.

How to Apply for SSC JSA/LDC Recruitment 2026
The application process consists of two stages: filling out the online form and submitting a physical copy through the proper channel.

ssc.nic.inare invalid.Live Photo Capture: While completing the application form, ensure you use a webcam or smartphone to capture a clear live photo against a plain, well-lit background. Do not upload old or pre-existing photographs.
Upload Signature: Upload your scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB) ensuring it is clear and not blurred.
Online Submission: Submit the filled form on or before 16th July 2026 (23:00 Hrs).
