Eligibility Criteria for SSC JSA / LDC LDCE

Since this is a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, it is only open to specific regular government employees who satisfy the following criteria:

1. Length of Service & Status

• Applicants must be a permanent or regularly appointed temporary Group ‘C’ employee having a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

• Must have rendered not less than 3 years of regular service as a Group ‘C’ employee as of the crucial date (1st August 2025).

2. Educational Qualification

• The candidate must have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognized Board or equivalent.

3. Type-writing Test

• Candidates must pass one of the periodical type-writing tests conducted by the SSC or Department of Official Language.

• Minimum Typing Speed: 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on a manual typewriter OR 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
