Selection Process
Merit-Based Shortlisting: The Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region) will prepare the shortlist from the online application data based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification (Degree/Diploma).
Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via their registered Email ID and must appear in person for Certificate Verification at TNMVMD, Chennai (tentatively in the fourth week of November 2026).

Visit the official National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) web portal at nats.education.gov.in.
For First-Time Users (Type ‘C’): Click on Student -> Student Register, complete the online application form, upload your B.E./B.Tech/Diploma Provisional Certificate or Consolidated Mark Sheet, and generate your unique 12-digit Enrolment Number (
ATN...).For Existing Old Portal Users (Type ‘A’): Click on Student -> Student Login -> Forgot Password, enter your registered email ID to reset your password, log in, and complete the new portal migration process to get your 12-digit Enrolment Number.
Mandatory Percentage Entry: Ensure you compulsorily enter your exact percentage of marks in the “% of marks / CGPAx10” column on the NATS portal (applications without percentage of marks will not be considered).
Log in to the NATS portal using your registered Email ID and password.
Navigate to the “Apply against advertised vacancies” section.
