టిఎస్ సెట్ TS SET 2023 Notification Released, TS SET 2023 Application Form TSSET 2023 Syllabus TS SET 2023 Exam dates: The Telangana State Government released a latest Telangana State Eligibility Test TS TET notification 2023 for recruitment and promotions of Lecturers/Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges/Universities in Telangana as per the University Grants Commission Regulations. The Osmania University invited applications from eligible candidates to appear for the Telangana State- State Eligibility Test TS SET Notification 2023 for the Recruitment of various Lecturers in Colleges/Universities in Telangana. The detailed notification was released on 30th July 2023 along with Syllabus for TS SET. As per the notification, the officials will conduct the TSSET 2023 Exam on 28th,29th and 30th of October 2023. The Eligible candidates can apply online till 28th August 2023 on its official website telanganaset.org.

TS SET 2023 Paper – I and Paper – II will be Computer Based Tests and will comprise of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 2 marks each.
On behalf of Telangana State Government, the Osmania University announces holding of the State Eligibility Test (TS-SET) on 28th,29th and 30th October 2023 for determining the eligibility of Telangana Students for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor & Lecturer in Telangana Universities and Colleges. The TS-SET examination will be conducted in General Studies and 29 subjects in CBT mode in 10 old districts of Telangana State. Tirupati, Vizag, Vijayawada and Kurnool will also be made centers depending on more applications. Candidates belonging to States outside Telangana will be treated as General Category irrespective of their reservation.

Telangana State Eligibility Test 2023 Notification had been issued on 30th July 2023 by the Osmania University for recruitment as Assistant Professors / Lecturers in various Universities / Degree Colleges / Institutions of Higher Education in Telangana. Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSSET-2023) for the Year 2023 to be conducted by OU for recruitment and promotions of Lectures/Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges as per the University Grant Commission Regulations for the year 2023. The University invites online applications from eligible candidates to appear for The Telangana State Eligibility Test 2023. No upper age limit for TSSET 2023. A candidate can avail of any number of chances. So, State Eligibility Test for Telangana State -2023 (SET-TS) will be conducted by Osmania University. TS SET 2023 Eligibility
a. The candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree (i.e., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA and M.Tech (CSE & IT only)) are eligible to apply. However, in case of the Backward Classes (BC)/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Disability (PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree is eligible for this Test.
b. The candidates who are pursuing their Master’s Degree course or the candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s Degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for eligibility for Assistant Professor / Lecturer after they have passed their Master’s Degree examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of BC/SC/ST/PwD (Persons with Disability) category candidates. Such candidates must complete their Master’s Degree examination within two years from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
c. Candidates belonging to third gender, in other words, transgender would be eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee, age and qualifying criteria for TS-SET examination as are available to SC/ST/ PwD categories.
d.The Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991(irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
e.Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their Post Graduation only.
f. See the list of Subjects in Point No. 12 in which TS-SET examination is being conducted.
g. Candidates are neither required to send any certificates/documents in support of their eligibility nor print out of their Application Form (Confirmation Page) to TS-SET office. However the candidates, in their own interest, must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the Test. Also, the candidates must show the original certificates at the stage of certificate verification. This is applicable for only the qualified candidates. In the event of any ineligibility being detected by the TS-SET at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.
h. Candidates having Post-Graduate Diploma awarded by Indian University/ Institute or Foreign Degree/Diploma awarded by the Foreign University/ Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their Degree /Diploma with Master’s Degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. On behalf of the Telangana State, Osmania University will conduct the TS-SET, 2023 examination for Eligibility as Assistant Professor / Lecturer on 28th,29th and 30th October 2023. The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The test will consist of two papers as given below: The online application form will be made available to the candidates from 05th August 2023.
The TS-SET will be conducted in objective mode. The test will consist of three papers. All three papers will consist of multiple choice questions and will be held on the day of the examination in two separate sessions as under:

Paper-I: shall consist of 50 objective-type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, are intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, Comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper-II: shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.

TS SET Syllabus 2023 Paper – I and Paper – II Exam will be Computer Based Tests and will comprise of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 2 marks each. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Candidates will be given two and a half hours to attempt the same.
