Objections Against NTA UGC NET Answer Key 2026

While checking the answers with the help of the UGC NET Answer Key 2026, if any candidate finds any mistakes in the UGC NET Exam key 2026, they can raise objections against it. Also, the aspirants may challenge the UGC NET Answer Key online. For the challenge, they must pay a processing fee of Rs 1000/- per answer challenged. The cost will be refunded if the challenge is verified as correct by an expert. The payment can be made online through a payment gateway, debit/credit card, or Net Banking. No challenge will be considered without receipt of the processing fee. The processing fee can be paid via debit/credit card or net banking.

Challenging the UGC NET Answer Key 2026

1. Go to the NTA website ugcnet.nta.nic.in
2. Click “View Question Paper and Challenge Provisional Answer Key”.
3. Login with Application Number and Date of Birth or Password and enter
Security Pin as displayed and Submit.
4. Click “Challenge/s regarding Answer Key”.
5. Question IDs in sequential order will be displayed on the Screen.
6. The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA.
7. If any candidate wishes to challenge this option, they may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
8. After clicking the desired option, scroll down, ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen.
