Education Details
Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (12th Class) examination from the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education, or any government-recognized equivalent examination.
It is mandatory for applicants to have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and hold a valid PET 2025 scorecard issued by the commission.
Salary
Selected candidates for both the Council House Guard and Fire Guard posts will be placed in the Pay Level-3 bracket, drawing a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 21,700 (Minimum) to Rs. 69,100 (Maximum).
Age Limit
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and should not exceed 40 years of age as of the 1st of July of the calendar year in which the vacancies are advertised.
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC, ST, and others) as per the rules of the Uttar Pradesh government.
Selection Process
The selection process for this recruitment will consist of the following stages:
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the main examination based on their UPSSSC PET-2025 normalized scores.
- Written Examination: A 2-hour written test comprising 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Key Highlights of the Exam
- The questions will be objective and multiple-choice.
- The written exam will consist of a single question paper containing 100 questions.
- The exam is for 100 marks, with each correct answer carrying 1 mark.
