Education Details
- Main Anganwadi Worker: Must have passed Class 10 (SSC) from a recognized State Board or equivalent. Candidate must be a married woman and a permanent local resident of the concerned village/ward habitations.
- Anganwadi Helper: Must have passed Class 10 (SSC). If no Class 10 passed candidates are available within the designated locality, higher education criteria will be considered as per departmental guidelines. Candidate must be a married local female resident.
Salary (Honorarium)
- Main Anganwadi Worker: ₹11,500 per month (approx. State/Central shared honorarium).
- Anganwadi Helper: ₹7,000 per month (approx. State/Central shared honorarium).
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years.
- Maximum Age: 35 years.
- Special Relaxation: In SC/ST habitation areas, if candidates aged 21 years and above are not available, the lower age limit is relaxed to 18 years.
Selection Process
- Scrutiny of Applications: Applications and attached certificates will be verified against local residency, age, marital status, and academic criteria.
- Merit & Interview: Selection is conducted by the District Selection Committee chaired by the District Collector based on qualifying examination marks, socio-economic factors (e.g., widows, differently abled), and performance in the oral interview.

Note: The initial notification for Anganwadi Worker posts in Janalagudam (Nandikotkur Project) and Pikkilipalli Thanda (Banaganapalli Project) has been cancelled; only Helper posts will be filled in these locations.
