TG DEECET 2026 Notification
Applications are invited for the D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) and D.P.S.E. (Diploma in Pre-School Education) through TG DEECET-2026 through the computer-based test (online mode for admission into a year course in Govt. DIETS / Private Unaided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (including Minority and Non- Minority) in the State of Telangana for the Batch 2026-27. For further details, the candidates are requested to visit deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in. The online applications can be submitted from 05.03.2026 TO 15.04.2026.

TS DEECET 2026 Eligibility
| (1). The candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the DEECET Committee for appearing at the DEECET. However, she/he should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission. |
| (2). The candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination for appearing at the DEECET. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates shall, however, be 45%.As per G.O.Ms.No 10 Education dated 12.04.2017 the candidates who passed Intermediate examination with vocational course(s) are not eligible .However in view of the orders Dated:12.04.2019 of the Honorable High Court of Telangana in IA No.1 of 2019 in WP.No.6482/2019 the candidate who have passed Intermediate with vocational course(s) shall be allowed to sit in the DEECET-2026 provisionally, but they cannot claim any equity in their favour. Moreover the examination result of such candidates shall be subject to the decision of the Honorable High Court in WP.No.6482/2019. |
| (3). Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st September of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed/D.P.S.E Programme. |

Nationality and Domicile: Applicant must be an Indian National and a local resident of Telangana State
Educational Qualification
For all seats in all Government DIETs and Private Un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions:

Schedule Of Examination:
The TS DEECET shall be conducted ‘ONLINE’ in all the erstwhile 10 districts on 21 & 22 May 2026.
TS DEECET/DIETCET Application Fee
The candidate, after satisfying herself /himself about the eligibility criteria for TSDEECET, shall pay a fee of Rs. 500/- through the payment gateway service provided on http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in from 22.04.2026 to 22.05.2026.
How to Apply Online for TS DEECET
The candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the website http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in, carefully review it, and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for DEECET, 2026.
- Goto official website www.tsdeecet.cgg.gove.in
- Pay the application fee through TS Online, credit, debit card, or net banking.
- The journal number will be generated; the candidate must note it down.
- Please complete the application form with the candidate’s personal information, such as Email ID and mobile number.
- Upload scanned colour Photo (30kb – 20kb) & Signature (30kb – 15kb) in JPEG format.
- Take a printout of the Application for future reference.

TS DEECET 2026 Exam Pattern
The entrance test will be conducted Online (Computer-Based Test). The paper will comprise 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions to be completed in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each question shall have 4 options, out of which only one will be correct. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark. NO NEGATIVE marking will be applicable.
