The school principals are requested to download the hall tickets for the above examination from 05.01.2025 afternoon using their school User ID / Password from the website www.dge.tn.gov.in and distribute them to the students. The school principals are kindly requested to advise them to inform the students about the examination centre details.
The NMMS examination for the 2025-2026 session is scheduled to take place on January 10, 2026. This examination is specifically for students currently studying in Class 8. NMMS Exam Pattern
The selection process consists of a written examination divided into two main papers. Both papers are objective-type (Multiple Choice Questions) and are usually conducted on the same day.
- Mental Ability Test (MAT): This section consists of 90 questions designed to test the student’s reasoning and critical thinking abilities. It covers topics like analogies, classification, numerical series, and pattern perception.
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): This section also contains 90 questions based on the syllabus of Classes 7 and 8. It includes subjects such as Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics.
- Duration: Each paper is allotted 90 minutes (Total 180 minutes).
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score an aggregate of at least 40% (32% for SC/ST categories) to be considered for the scholarship.
How to Download NMMS Tamil Nadu Hall Ticket 2025-26
As per the official notification, students cannot download their hall tickets directly. Instead, school principals are responsible for providing them. Here is the process for schools to access the admit cards:
- Go to the official Tamil Nadu DGE website at www.dge.tn.gov.in.
- The School Headmaster must log in using the school’s unique User ID and Password.
- Navigate to the NMMS section and select the link for “NMMS Hall Ticket Download 2025-26”.
- Download the hall tickets for all registered students and take clear printouts.
- Headmasters must verify details like name, date of birth, and photo. Any corrections should be made in red ink and attested by the Principal.
- The signed and attested hall tickets must be issued to the students well before the exam date.
