HPRCA Jobs 2026 Vacancy Details

The HPRCA has announced a total of 331 vacancies across multiple departments in Himachal Pradesh. The highest number of openings are designated for Operation Theatre Assistants and Panchayat Secretaries, followed by various other healthcare and technical roles.

Education Details

• Panchayat Secretary: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university. Must possess a computer typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi, along with knowledge of word processing.
• Pharmacist / Pharmacy Officer: 10+2 in Science with a Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy and valid registration with the Pharmacy Council.
• Operation Theatre Assistant: 10+2 (Science with PCB) with a minimum of 50% marks, plus an OTA Course or B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Anesthesia & OT Techniques) and Paramedical Council registration.
• Radiographer: 10+2 in Science with a B.Sc. degree in Radiology and registration with the Paramedical Council.
• Other Posts: Relevant Graduation, Post Graduation, or Diploma aligned with the specific post requirements.

Salary

• Panchayat Secretary (Job Trainee): Rs. 12,500/- per month (Fixed)
• Pharmacist / Pharmacy Officer: Rs. 18,000/- per month (Fixed)
• Operation Theatre Assistant: Rs. 18,000/- per month (Fixed)
• Radiographer: Rs. 18,000/- per month (Fixed)
• Speech Therapist: Rs. 17,500/- per month (Fixed)
• Medical Social Worker: Rs. 10,300 – 34,800 + Rs. 3,800 Grade Pay (Pre-revised)

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years (18 to 38 years for specific posts like Speech Therapist and Audiometric Technician).

Note: The age limit is calculated as on 01-01-2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen) as per Himachal Pradesh government guidelines.

Selection Process

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test: An objective-type examination carrying 120 marks (1 mark per question) with a total duration of 1.5 hours.
2. Typing Test: Applicable strictly for the Panchayat Secretary post (Qualifying in nature).
3. Skill Test: As applicable for specific technical or artistic roles.
4. Document Verification: Verification of all original educational, age, and registration certificates.

Application Fee

• Total Application Fee: Rs. 800/- (Consists of Rs. 100/- Examination Fee and Rs. 700/- Processing Fee).
• Application Correction Fee: Rs. 100/-

5. Select the desired post from the active list and choose your preferred examination district.
6. Pay the required application fee online through the integrated payment gateway.
7. Verify all entered details, submit the final application form, and print a copy for future reference.
