JELET 2026 Exam Details

The WBJEE JELET 2026 will be conducted in an offline, OMR-based format. The examination duration is exactly 2 hours. Candidates will have to solve objective-type multiple-choice questions curated from their respective diploma or degree syllabi. The assessment is designed to test the proficiency of candidates in core technical and foundational scientific concepts required to seamlessly transition into the advanced semesters of undergraduate engineering, technology, or pharmacy programs.

JELET 2026 Eligibility Details

  • For Engineering/Technology (Diploma Holders): Candidates must possess a Diploma in Engineering or Technology from an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD).
  • For B.Sc Graduates: Candidates must hold a valid B.Sc degree from a UGC-recognized university with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories). Additionally, they must have passed their 12th standard examinations with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • For Pharmacy: Aspirants must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).

Applicants must be Indian citizens. While there is no rigid domicile requirement to appear for the test, a valid West Bengal domicile certificate is strictly mandatory for claiming reserved category seats and for admission into any Government Engineering or Pharmacy College.

  5. Upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photograph and your signature as per the strictly specified dimensional and size formats.
  6. Proceed to pay the required application fee through the provided online payment gateway.
