Education Details
Anganwadi Teacher (AWT): Candidates must have passed Intermediate (12th Class) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Anganwadi Helper (AWH): Candidates must have passed SSC (10th Class).
Note: Only female candidates who are local residents of the respective Anganwadi Centre/ward are eligible to apply.
Salary
Anganwadi Teacher (AWT): Expected to be around ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month.
Anganwadi Helper (AWH): Expected to be around ₹6,000 – ₹8,000 per month.
(Actual remuneration will be finalized based on current Telangana State Government pay structures).
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 Years.
Maximum Age: 35 Years.
Age relaxation applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC categories and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per government norms.
Selection Process
The selection process involves no written examination. It is purely based on a merit list:
Academic Merit: 70 marks are awarded based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam (10th or 12th).
Special Categories: Additional weightage is provided for widows, destitute women, and persons with disabilities.
Interview / Document Verification: Final evaluation and verification of local residence and community certificates.
