The State Board of  Technical  Education and  Training,  Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada will conduct the “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” for the candidates seeking admission into all  Diploma  Courses in Engineering / Non-Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics/institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics / Private Engineering Colleges offering 2nd shift Polytechnics in the State of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2023-2024.

SBTET, Vijayawada has Released the Schedule for AP POLYCET 2023.  The Online Applications were accepted from 11th April 2023. Those students who Completed or Studied the 10th Class can apply for AP POLYCET 2023.
AP POLYCET is being conducted by AP Govt for Admissions into Polytechnic Diploma courses under 10th Class Standard. This Exam Consists of Three Subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Maths which have 30 Questions from Physics and Chemistry and 60 Questions from Mathematics. All are Objective types of Questions only. AP CEEP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2023 Details – Notification

AP Polycet 2023 @ appolycet.nic.in: Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP Polycet) the exam is conducted by State Board Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Amravati. The Officials Conduct the Exam at state Level for admission to Government aided and private unaided Polytechnic Institutions in the state. The Amravati State Board of Education will conduct the AP POLYCET 2023 in offline mode in the 27th Sep 2023. The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic institutions offered admissions in various polytechnic/ diploma courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Eligibility for AP CEEP 2023

The Higher Officials of AP Polycet 2023 specify the eligibility criteria in the official Notification. There are a set of conditions that candidates have met to appear in the exam. You can also check the eligibility criteria as follows:
Candidates who have passed SSC  or its equivalent  &  recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P., Vijayawada are eligible. The candidates who have passed in compartmentally or appearing for TSC  are also eligible to apply. However, they must have passed in all the subjects before seeking admission.

1. Candidate shall be an Indian National
2. Candidate should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (w) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and its subsequent amendments.
3. Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P / TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
4. Candidates belonging to NIOS/ APOSS/ CBSE/ ICSE/ OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
5. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in May-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET- 2023.
6. There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2023. However for maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship, the guidelines prescribed in Memo No.10537/SW(Edn.2)/2011, and issued from time to time by Social Welfare (Edn.) Department shall apply.
7. Mere appearing for POLYCET-2023 and obtaining a merit rank does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfills the requirements laid down for admission.
