AP TET 2025 Application process started on tet2dsc.apcfss.in: The School Education Department, Andhra Pradesh, has released a Notification for the Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) in October 2025. The Online Application process starts on 24 October and will continue until November 23, 2025. The AP TET-2025 examination is set to be held online across all districts on December 10, 2025. The hall tickets will be available from December 3, 2025, while the initial key will be released on January 2, 2026, followed by the final results on January 19, 2026.

AP TET 2025: Objective
The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test APTET– 2025 will be conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, in all Districts of the State through a computer-based test. The primary objective of conducting the Teacher Eligibility Test is to ensure adherence to national standards and benchmarks of Teacher Quality in the recruitment process, as per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). One of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any school (Both Government and Private) is that they should pass the TET conducted by the Department of School Education.
Who is Eligible?
Those candidates who possess D.EL.Ed. / B.Ed. or its equivalent qualifications, and candidates pursuing the final semester of the said courses with the requisite percentage of marks obtained can appear for APTET-NOVEMBER-2025. However, candidates intending to seek employment as teachers in private unaided schools following the Central or State syllabus shall have the option of appearing at the CTET conducted by the Central Government through CBSE instead of the APTET, if they so desire. Candidates who wish to improve their APTET score can also apply for the APTET.
AP TET 2025 Exam Details
APTET-2025 will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test in Paper-1A, Paper-1B, Paper-2A, and Paper-2B. The candidate who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V has to appear for Paper-1A, and the candidate intending to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII has to appear for Paper-2A. The candidate who intends to be teachers for Classes I to V in Special Education Schools have to appear for the examination under Paper -1B and the candidates who intends to be teachers for Classes from VI to VIII have to appear for paper-2B in respect of Special Education Schools. The candidates who have both D.El.Ed. and B.Ed. Qualifications, Intending to be teachers for all Classes from I to VIII are only eligible to appear for all papers, i.e., Paper-1A, Paper-1B, Paper-2A, and Paper-2B as per the requisite qualifications.

Examination Fee
The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of Computer Based Examination is Rs.750/- for each Paper-1A, Paper-1B, Paper-2A and Paper-2B separately.If the candidate who is having both D.El.Ed general/special and B.Ed general /special qualifications desires to apply for all papers, he/she has to pay Rs.750/- for each paper separately.
