CIL Recruitment 2026 Education Details
Mandatory Qualification: Candidates must have successfully passed the Intermediate examination of Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI or the Intermediate examination of Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Restriction: Any candidate who has already undergone training under a similar scheme for one year or more in any other PSU is not eligible to apply.
Stipend Details
- Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of ₹22,000.
- No other allowances (TA/DA) will be provided.
- Trainees are eligible for free OPD treatment in company-owned hospitals/dispensaries where available.
Age Limit
- UR / EWS: 28 Years
- OBC (NCL): 31 Years
- SC / ST: 33 Years
- PwD: Relaxation provided as per Government of India guidelines (up to 15 years depending on category).
Selection Process
Merit-Based: Selection is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the CA/CMA Intermediate examination (total of both groups).
Tie-Breaker: In case of equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference. If age is also the same, marks in Class X will be considered.
Preference: Weightage is given to Land Owners and wards of CIL employees as per the scheme’s guidelines.
