In a press statement, N. Bhaskar, Principal of the Government School for the Blind in Karimnagar, announced that applications are being invited for admissions into classes 1 through 10 (English medium) for the 2026-27 academic year. He stated that admissions are open to visually impaired boys and girls aged between 6 and 14 years who are residents of Telangana state.
He added that priority in admissions would be given to students from the former districts of Karimnagar, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Hyderabad, and Warangal. He informed that students admitted to the school would receive free education, along with textbooks, uniforms, and free hostel accommodation.
