HORTICET-2020 NOTIFICATION
Dr. Y.S.R. Hoirticulture University is also known as AP Horticulture University conducting a Degree Entrance Test Every year for the candidates who have completed their diploma in horticulture culture to offer admission in the course of B.SC Horticulture. Every Year large number of candidates participated in the Entrance test to get a Seat in the University or its affiliated colleges. Dr. YSR Horticultural University – Horticulture Common Entrance Test (HORTICET) 2020 Examination conducts on 10th November 2020. The University offers only eligible candidates for the HORTICET Examination and admissions. The aspirants who are eligible for the HORTICET examinations can fill the application forms in online.

ELIGIBILITY
A pass in Diploma in Horticulture course from Dr. YSRHU (Those who are going to complete the Diploma requirements in the 2019-20 academic year can also apply, but submission of Final Memorandum of Marks-cum-Pass Certificate of Diploma in Horticulture is a must at the time of Admission counseling).
AGE
The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all candidates, 25 years in respect of S.C. & S.T. candidates and 27 years in respect of Physically Challenged (Differently abled) candidates.
Number of Seats
Total No. of seats allotted to diploma holders is 15% of seats of B.Sc (Hons.) Horticulture: i.e., 83 seats {47 (Uni. College seats) + 36 (Pvt. College Seats) & 09 EWS quota seats (05 Uni. College seats) + 04 (Pvt. College seats)} Total =92 seats (Uni. College seats + Pvt. College seats).
Reservation
- As per rules of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- The above seats will be allocated in the ratio of 85% for local candidates and remaining 15% seats will be treated as an unreserved quota.
The medium of Exam: The question paper contains questions in Telugu Medium
YSRHU AP HORTICET 2020 Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The entrance test is for 2.00 hours duration and the question paper (Multiple choice objective type questions) consists of 200 multiple choice bits.
