Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Company, plans to engage Fixed Term Project Associates (FTPA) at its HP Green R&D Centre, Bengaluru, to assist in various research projects of the Corporation.

HPCL is looking to hire dynamic and aspiring candidates with a B.Sc., M.Sc., BE/B. Tech, Diploma, PG Diploma (as mentioned under SI.No 2 Educational qualification of Advertisement) as FIXED TERM PROJECT ASSOCIATES (FTPA) on Fixed Term basis at HP Green R&D Centre, Bengaluru.

Important Dates	Job Description
Commencement of online application: 15th August, 2025 Last date for online application: 14th September, 2025	To assist Scientists carrying out research project(s). Prepare samples for establishing methods of analysis & carrying out routine analysis related to the assigned project(s). Monitoring batch reactions for optimizing reaction conditions Running pilot plants in shifts. Carryout any other job(s) assigned by the reporting scientists/Officers. Project Associates are required to work for 6 days a week and may be required to work in shifts and/or in extended working hours as required by the Corporation from time to time.

MSc	Chemistry Chemistry -Material Science Polymer Science Microbiology/ Biosciences/ Biotechnology
BSc	Chemistry Chemistry -Material Science Polymer Science Microbiology/ Biosciences/ Biotechnology
BE/B.Tech	a) Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Petroleum Refining b) Polymer/Plastic Technology c) Mechanical Engineering/ Automobile Engineering (Candidates with experience of running Test Benches, Chassis Dyno, Transient Dyno, Eddy Current Dyno, Emission Systems, BS VI Systems, Utilities for the Transient Dyno and Chassis Dyno are desirable).

Age Limit	Mode of Slection
Age: 28 Years or below as on Last date of receipt of Application i.e, 14th September, 2025 Age relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) SC / ST/PWD candidates will be applicable as per the Government Directives. All computations of age/ relevant experience requirement/ qualification shall be done with respect to the last date of receipt of online application i.e. 14th September, 2025.	Selection will be made on the basis of screening of applications and Testimonials as per the eligibility norms of eligible candidates followed by personal interview by the Selection Committee. In the event of number of applications being large, Corporation will adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number by any one or more of the following methods: On the basis of higher educational qualifications than minimum prescribed in the advertisement. On the basis of higher experience in the relevant fields than minimum prescribed in the advertisement On the basis of Application screening (on eligibility criteria) On the basis of Resume shortlisting (Work experience, Academic marks (taking aggregate marks of all semesters/years i.e., taking average of all the semesters/years, irrespective of weightage given to any particular subject (including languages)/semester/year of the Institute/University)). By holding a written test.
Stipend	How to Apply
An all-inclusive stipend of Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- per month depending on qualification & experience, is payable (subject to revision). This includes Accident Insurance, Medical Insurance, etc. The company does not provide any transport facility for commuting to office. However, there is a sharing bus facility which has to be availed by the PROJECT ASSOCIATEs on pay and use basis. Breakfast and lunch facilities are provided at the office premises for which a nominal monthly lump sum amount will be deducted. The premium towards Insurance will be deducted from the stipend. Deductions towards PF, Income Tax, Professional Tax etc will be as applicable. As part of the discharge of their duties they may be required to travel to other locations.
