HPRCA has announced a total of 41 vacancies for the Pharmacy Officer (Allopathy) position under the Department of Health & Family Welfare. These state-cadre posts are distributed across various categories including General, EWS, SC, ST, and OBC candidates.

Education Details

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science from a recognized Board of School Education.
• Applicants must hold a Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University or an Institution duly recognized by the Central/State Government.
• Candidates must be registered with the Pharmacy Council of the concerned State/Central Government.
• A candidate is eligible if they have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any school or institution situated in Himachal Pradesh, though this condition does not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
• Candidates who completed a Diploma in Pharmacy prior to 12.09.2001 and are matriculates are also eligible to apply.

Salary

Selected candidates for the post of Pharmacy Officer (Allopathy) – Job Trainee will receive a consolidated monthly fixed amount of Rs. 18,000/-.

Age Limit

• The minimum age limit for applicants is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 45 years.

• The age will be calculated as of 01.01.2026.

• An upper age relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, Persons with Disabilities (domiciles of HP), regular employees of the HP Government, and Ex-servicemen of HP.

Selection Process

• Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Objective Screening Test: Candidates will take a 120-mark objective-type exam consisting of multiple-choice questions for a duration of 1.5 hours. The Aayog may prefer OMR-based tests if the number of candidates is limited.

• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the verification of their original certificates and eligibility documents.

• Total Fee (All Categories): Rs. 800/- (Includes Examination fee of Rs. 100/- and Processing fee of Rs. 700/-).
• Correction Fee: Rs. 100/- (Applicable if candidates make changes to their application during the correction window).
• Payment Mode: Fees must be paid online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. No other mode of payment is accepted.
