JoSAA Counselling 2023 Starts: Joint Seat Allocation Authority has Released the JoSAA 2023 counselling Schedule at the official website – josaa.nic.in. JoSAA counselling 2023 process comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment and admission confirmation. Applicants going to appear for the counselling process must check the documents required to complete the JoSAA counselling 2023 registration. JoSAA 2023 counselling will be held between 19th June to 31st July 2023.

hose candidates who have qualified in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) Main 2023 and JEE Advanced 2023 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. JoSAA 2023 counselling process includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment and admission confirmation.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2023 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 118 institutes for the academic year 2023-24. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 38 Other Technical Institutes Funded Fully or Partially by Central or State Government (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.

Eligibility Criteria for JoSAA Counselling 2023

  • For the students to get into the NITs, IIITs and GFTIs they must qualify in JEE Main 2023 Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) and/or JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning).
  • Based on the JoSAA Counselling eligibility criteria 2023 to get into the Indian Institute of Technology (any IIT) the students must have qualified for JEE Advanced 2023.

  • JEE Advanced Admit Card 2023
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • Undertaking by the candidate as per the given format
  • Passport – for foreign nationals / OCI certificate or PIO card if applicable
  • Date of birth proof [Class X marks sheet or any other similar certificate]
  • Provisional seat allotment letter
  • Proof of seat acceptance fee payment – E-challan or net banking transaction
  • Category certificate (OBC-NCL/SC/ST) if applicable and as per format
  • Class XII (or equivalent) board marksheet.

What is JoSAA 2023? Who conducts it?
