Karnataka KEA PGCET 2020: The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is a state level entrance test held by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Candidates who are seeking admission for full time/part-time courses of MBA/ MCA/ ME/ M. Tech/ M. Arch and second-year lateral entry to MCA course in various institutions and affiliated universities located in the state of Karnataka should clear KEA PGCET 2020. The last date to apply for Karnataka PGCET 2020 is up to 5.30 pm on June 28.

Final Chance to apply online for KEA PGCET-2020 – 08-05-2020 to 28-06-2020

On the request of many students and parents, last and final chance is given to the students to apply online CET-2020. If some of the students have not applied for CET-2020, can apply online and pay the fees from 6.00 pm on 08-05-2020 up to 6.00 pm on 30-06-2020 to become eligible for admission to various Professional courses for the year 2020. For more details please visit KEA Website kea.kar.nic.in. No more further extension of time will be given to apply for CET-2020.

Editing of Application — Final Chance

For CET-2020, editing option will be enabled finally from 6.00 p.m. on 20-05-2020 up to 6.00 p.m. on 22-05-2020. for all the fields entered by candidates in the online application form. The candidates can change / modify the information furnished in the online application as per their eligibility.

How to apply for Karnataka KEA CET 2020?

The application form will be released by the institution by third week of May 2020. It will be available in their official web site. The candidate should register first and then log in the site to access the application form. Then the form should be duly filled and the fee can be paid in online mode. The required documents should be scanned along with a recent photography of the aspirant, a scanned copy of fingerprint. All of the above said should be submitted before first week of June 2020. The admit card will be offered shortly after submission of the form and the examination will be held during first week of July, 2020.

What is the Eligibility criteria for Karnataka PGCET 2020?

The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

For MBA Course:

Candidate must hold Bachelor’s degree with minimum three year of duration in any discipline and must have scored 50% minimum aggregate marks in graduation degree and 45% marks for reserved category candidates.

For MCA Course:

Candidate must have passed UG degree with Mathematics/Statistics/Computer holding a minimum of  50% marks in graduation. For reserved category 45% marks are required.

Student must have passed graduation degree with Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Application, Business Mathematics and Business Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation level.

For M. Tech/ ME /M. Arch Course:

Candidate must have passed B. Tech/ M. Sc or equivalent degree to be eligible holding minimum of 50% marks (45% for ST/SC/OBC category of Karnataka state).

GATE Candidates: Candidates must have a valid GATE score card.

What is the Karnataka PGCET 2020 Exam Pattern?

Exam Mode: Offline mode.

Total Marks: 100 marks for each course.

Type of Question:  Multiple-choice questions.

Language of the Exam: English

Duration of PGCET 2020 : 2 hours & 30 minutes.

Marking:  No negative marking .

What is the syllabus for Karnataka PGCET 2020?

The syllabus will be uploaded online in their official web site. And it is recommended for the candidates to be prepared for the below topics as well for the examination.

For ME/ M. Tech/ M. Arch60 questions will be from technical syllabus and remaining will be from Arithmetic and Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English.
For MBAEnglish grammar, vocabulary and literature section, General Knowledge, Reasoning and General Intelligence and Quantitative analysis.
For MCAGeneral Awareness, General English, Analytical ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and Mathematics.

How does the Counselling proceed ?

The results will be announced online in the third week of August,2020. Karnataka PGCET 2020 counselling will occur in the first week of September 2020. The listed aspirants should bring their documents and appear for counselling.

The Candidates gets to select their desired college and course in this process.
