Education Qualification

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria defined by UGC, NCERT, and Government of India norms.

  • Professor:

    • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

    • Minimum of 10 years of teaching/research experience in a University/College.

    • Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed journals.

    • Total research score of 120 as per UGC criteria.

  • Associate Professor:

    • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

    • Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.

    • Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching/research.

    • Minimum 7 publications and a research score of 75.

  • Assistant Professor:

    • Master’s Degree with 55% marks in a relevant subject.

    • Must have qualified NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR.

    • Candidates with a Ph.D. (as per UGC regulations) may be exempted from NET.

  • Deputy Librarian:

    • Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with 55% marks.

    • At least 8 years of experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.

    • Ph.D. in Library Science or related field.

  • Assistant Librarian:

    • Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science with 55% marks.

    • Qualified in NET/SLET/SET or holds a Ph.D. degree as per UGC norms.

Salary Structure

The selected candidates will be paid as per the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix.

  • Professor: Pay Level 14 (Entry Pay ₹1,44,200)

  • Associate Professor / Deputy Librarian: Pay Level 13A (Entry Pay ₹1,31,400)

  • Assistant Professor / Assistant Librarian: Pay Level 10 (Entry Pay ₹57,700)

Age Limit

  • The age of superannuation and age limit conditions will be determined as per the norms of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, and NCERT.

  • Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD/EWS candidates as per the Government of India rules.

The selection will be based strictly on merit and performance in the interview.
