Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, 2023 OJEE 2023 Entrance Test Online Applications Started: Joint Entrance Examination Cell of Odisha has released the Notification for Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, 2023 (OJEE). The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination committee is formed for the purpose of holding Common Entrance Examinations for admission to the Undergraduate/Postgraduate Level Professional Courses in the State of Odisha. For the 2023–24 academic session, the Committee will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination for admission to Undergraduate Courses in (Lateral Entry) Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Postgraduate course like MBA, MCA, (Lateral Entry) MCA, MTECH, MPLAN, MARCH, MPHARM and Int. MBA in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self-financed Institutes in the State.

OJEE 2023 Exam Dates

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE – 2023) will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on May 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. The reserved date for the exam is May 15. for admission to First Year Degree Courses in B. Pharm, Integrated MBA (5 Years), Lateral Admission to Second Year (Third Semester) of B. Tech./ B. Pharm/ MCA and First Year Masters Degree Courses in MCA, MBA, M. Tech, M Pharm, M Arch, M Plan, M Arch (Exe.). All the latest information related to OJEE – 2023 will be available on OJEE’s official websites (www.ojee.nic.in and www.odishajee.com) only.

OJEE 2023 Admit Card will be available from 20th April 2023. 

Candidates desirous of taking admission in the above programs have to apply for OJEE – 2023 through “Online” mode only. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the Information Brochure available on OJEE website. The Information Brochure contains all the important information relating to OJEE – 2023 including instructions for making online application, important dates and notes for applicants, categories and reservations, eligibility criteria, subjects and syllabus etc.

a. Passed Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.
b.Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
c. Provided that the students belonging to B.Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the First Year Engineering Programme along with the Second year subjects.
d.Provided that the students belonging to B.Sc. Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
In the above cases, a suitable bridge Courses, if required such as in Mathematics may be conducted.

Charges by Bank will be charged as per norm over and above the prescribed fee.

How to Apply for OJEE 2023

The candidates are required to apply only online as per the procedure detailed below. Further, applicants are advised to follow the “INSTRUCTION BOOKLET FOR FILLING APPLICATION FORM” that is uploaded in the website.

  •  Candidates can apply for OJEE – 2023 only through “Online” mode.
  • Information    Brochure       can     be        seen   and     downloaded  from    the      website www.ojee.nic.in / www.odishajee.com
  • The application forms may be filled and submitted online through the website www.ojee.nic.in.
  • Candidates not complying with the instructions shall summarily be disqualified.
  • Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence.
  • Printouts of the computer-generated Confirmation Page of the Application Form.
  • Proof of fee payment.
  • The fee can be remitted through any of the following methods:

OJEE 2023: Admit Card

The Admit card of OJEE 2023 will be published after the completion of application process. It is a necessary document which will mention certain important details about the appearing candidate and the exam. In case any discrepancy arises in the details of the admit card or during downloading the admit card, students must contact the officials immediately.

OJEE 2023: Result

The Result of OJEE 2023 will be released after the General ability test, creative ability test and interview. The result will be published by online mode. To check the result online and download the scorecard, students have to enter their application number, roll number and date of birth.
The result of the entrance examination shall be announced on the official website of JEE Cell Odisha.

OJEE 2023 Counselling

The counselling process of OJEE 2023 will start after Release of OJEE 2023 Results. To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to register online first. Only those candidates will be eligible for counselling rounds who will have common merit rank.
The agenda of JEE Cell Odisha counselling will be displayed on the official website of JEE Cell Odisha. For getting admission to JEE Cell Odisha courses, it is mandatory for the qualifying candidates to participate in the counselling.
At the time of counseling, document verification of the candidates will also be done.

3. I want to take admission in B.Tech & MBBS. Do I need to appear in the OJEE entrance test??
A: No, admission into B.Tech is offered on the basis JEE Main score only. Also, for MBBS, BAMS, BHMS admission students have to apply for admission through NEET scores.
