OSSSC Forest Guard Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details
OSSSC is recruiting for 943 positions, comprising 896 Forest Guards and 47 Foresters under the FE & CC Department. Education Details
Forest Guard: Candidates must have passed the High School Certificate Examination (10+) from a recognized Board or Institution.
Forester: Applicants must have passed +2 Science from a recognized University or Institution and possess basic computer skills.
Language Proficiency: Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia and must have passed a language test in Odia at the Middle School level or higher.

Selection Process
Written Test: A 100-mark MCQ-based examination covering Mathematics, General Studies, English, Odia, and Computer.
Physical Standard Measurement (PSM): Verification of height and chest measurements (e.g., 168 cm height for UR/SEBC/SC men).
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): A qualifying walking test (25 km in 4 hours for men; 16 km in 4 hours for women).
Document Verification (DV): Validation of original certificates and bio-data.

SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Exempted from the fee.
