Exam and Interview Details

The selection process for the Regular Mazdoor post is rigorous and consists of multiple stages. Candidates must qualify in each stage to proceed to the next.

  • Written Test (50 Marks): The first stage is an OMR-based Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test covering General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics, General Hindi, and General English. The minimum qualifying standard is 40% (20 Marks).

  • Cycling Test: Candidates who qualify the Written Test will undergo a Cycling Test. This is of qualifying nature only. Note that this test is not mandatory for Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) candidates.

  • Skill Test & Interview (50 Marks): Successful candidates will be called for the final stage, which includes:

    • Skill Test (30 Marks): Evaluates practical knowledge and life skills. Minimum passing marks are 12 (40%).

    • Interview (20 Marks): Assesses personality and suitability. Minimum passing marks are 6 (30%).

Selection Ratio: The High Court will shortlist candidates for the Skill Test & Interview approximately 25 times the number of advertised vacancies based on the Written Test results. The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks scored in the Written Test and the Skill Test & Interview.

How to Download the Admit Card / Interview Letter

The Patna High Court does not send Admit Cards or Interview Letters by post. Candidates must download them from the official website. Follow these steps to access your letter:

  1. Go to https://patnahighcourt.gov.in.
  2. Look for the “Recruitments” tab on the left-hand menu of the homepage.
  3. Click on the link titled “Regular Mazdoor Recruitment Examination, 2025”.
  4. Enter your Registration Number and Password (sent to you via SMS/Email during registration).
  5. Once logged in, locate the option to download the “E-Admit Card” or “Interview Letter”.
  6. Save the PDF and take a clear printout.

Important Documents to Carry:

According to the official advertisement, candidates must produce the following at the time of the interview:

  • Printout of the E-Admit Card.
  • Printout of the finally submitted Online Application Form.
  • 08 (Eight) copies of recent colour passport-size photographs (identical to the one uploaded in the application).
  • Original and valid Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, etc.).
  • All relevant original certificates (Educational, Domicile, Caste/Category, etc.) for verification.
