Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Andhra Pradesh, has released a notification for the First Phase of AP IIIT Admission 2026-27 counselling schedule. AP RGUKT IIIT Selection List has been released on June 13. All Selected Students must attend Certification Verification at the selected campus.

The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Andhra Pradesh, has released the detailed prospectus for admissions into its 6-year integrated B.Tech program for the academic year 2026-27. This unique program consists of a 2-year Pre-University Course (PUC) followed by a 4-year B.Tech degree. Admissions are strictly merit-based, relying on the 10th class (SSC) or equivalent examination marks obtained in 2026, with a special deprivation score added for students from government schools. Important Counselling Dates

The counselling process includes the announcement of provisional selections followed by in-person certificate verification at the respective campuses.

Documents Required for Counselling

Selected candidates must attend the counselling session with original documents along with five sets of photocopies.

• SSC or equivalent marks sheet issued by the respective board.

• Caste/community certificate (SC/ST/BC) for those claiming reservation.

• Latest EWS certificate (issued not earlier than 2025) for applicable candidates.

• Latest Income certificate issued in the year 2026.

• Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate in the prescribed proforma, if applicable.

• Children of Armed Forces (CAP) certificate, if applicable.

• NCC certificate for those claiming reservation under this category.

• Sports certificate(s) at the inter-state level and above, if applicable.

• Bharat Scouts and Guides relevant certificates, if applicable.

Fee Details

Students are required to pay the following fees at the time of admission and throughout their academic tenure:

Tuition and Mess Fees:

• Tuition Fee: For AP school students, the tuition fee is Rs. 45,000/- per annum for the PUC program and Rs. 50,000/- per annum for the B.Tech program. Students eligible for State Government fee reimbursement will be exempted.

• Mess Charges: Students are required to pay actual monthly mess charges of approximately Rs. 3,500/- per month.

Process of Counselling

The RGUKT counselling process is straightforward but strictly enforces physical presence and document validity:

• Intimation: The provisional selection list will be published on the official website (www.rgukt.in). Candidates will also receive notifications via the registered email and SMS.

• Physical Verification: Provisionally selected candidates must report in person to their designated RGUKT campus on the specified dates for the verification of original certificates.

• Special Categories Verification: Document verification for special categories (PH, CAP, NCC, Sports, and Bharat Scouts and Guides) for all campuses is uniquely held at the RGUKT-Nuzvid campus on designated dates.

• Admission Confirmation: If a candidate fails to present any of the required original certificates during counselling, their admission will be immediately cancelled.

• Campus Allocation: Once admitted, students must study at their allotted campus. Internal transfers between RGUKT campuses are strictly prohibited under any circumstances.
