Educational Qualification & Experience Criteria (As on 31.07.2026)
1. Trade Finance Officer – IBG (JMGS-I)
- Essential Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a Government recognized University/Institution.
- Mandatory Certification: Mandatory Certification in Forex Operations from IIBF (Certificate dated on or before 31.07.2026).
- Preferred Certifications: CDCS by LIBF, CSDG by LIBF, CTFP by ICC Academy, GTC by ICC Academy, CITF by LIBF, or Certificate in International Trade Finance by IIBF.
- Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing and operations mandatorily in Officer/Official role in any Scheduled Commercial Bank (preferably as a maker role).
2. Trade Finance Officer – IBG (MMGS-II)
- Essential Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a Government recognized University/Institution.
- Mandatory Certification: Mandatory Certification in Forex Operations from IIBF (Certificate dated on or before 31.07.2026).
- Preferred Certifications: CDCS by LIBF, CSDG by LIBF, CTFP by ICC Academy, GTC by ICC Academy, CITF by LIBF, or Certificate in International Trade Finance by IIBF.
- Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing mandatorily in Officer/Official role in any Scheduled Commercial Bank.
(Note: Teaching and training experience will not be counted toward eligibility; eligible candidates can apply for both posts).

Selection Process
The selection of candidates for Trade Finance Officer positions involves two stages:
- Shortlisting: Fulfilling minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for interview. The Bank’s Shortlisting Committee will determine parameters and shortlist an adequate number of candidates based on profile, qualifications, and experience.
- Interview (100 Marks): Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Personal Interview carrying 100 marks. The qualifying cutoff marks in the interview are decided by the Bank.
- Merit List & Outstation Travel: The final merit list will be prepared in descending order based solely on interview scores. Outstation shortlisted candidates will be reimbursed economy class airfare (up to ₹10,000/- to-and-fro) as per rules.
