TSWR COE CET 2024 Notification & Application Form: Online applications are invited for admission into Intermediate 1st year in Center of Excellence (COE) Colleges functioning under the control of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, Hyderabad (TSWREIS). The TSWREIS provides intensive coaching for IIT, NEET and other Nation-wide prestigious Institutions through Centres of Excellence (COEs).

Eligibility to apply in TSWR COE CET:

• The students from natives of Telangana State are eligible to apply for TSWR COE CET – 2024.
• The students, who are appearing for SSC Public Examination in March 2024 / 10th class from ICSE/CBSE regularly, are eligible to apply. The students, who pass SSC in March 2024 / 10th class from CBSE/ICSE during the academic year 2023-24 regularly are eligible for admission into Intermediate in COE Junior Colleges.
• The annual income of the parent should not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per annum (for Urban students) and Rs.1,50,000/- (for Rural students). An income certificate issued by MRO to this extent should be submitted at the time of admission.
• The students from Telugu Medium (OR) English Medium are also eligible for the entrance test.
• The age of the students should not exceed 17 years as on 31.08.2024. In the case of SC and SC Converted Christian students relaxation of age for 2 years will be allowed.
• The students should produce all relevant original certificates at the time of admission and then only the admission will be confirmed.

Reservation pattern:

Community wise reservation. (As per G.O.Ms.No.20, Dated : 02.06.2016 of Scheduled Caste Development (RS) Department)

• 3% of overall seats shall be reserved to the Physically Handicapped (Orthopedically handicapped, Hearing impaired and Visually handicapped, Loco-motor disabled) students irrespective of caste, who can attend their work without anybody’s help based on the certificate issued by the Medical Board. The persons more than 50% Handicapped are not eligible.
• 3% of the overall seats are reserved for Orphan students, irrespective of caste.

Admission procedure/selection process

• The applicant must submit his / her application through ONLINE only by visiting website
• www.tswreis.ac.in or https://tsswreisjc.cgg.gov.in/
• The candidate needs to pay an amount of Rs.200/- towards the Registration fee irrespective of Caste. This payment should be made through credit card / Debit card / NET banking.
• Before filling out the application online, the candidate has to read the information/ prospectus already uploaded in the website www.tswreis.ac.in or https://tsswreisjc.cgg.gov.in/ [*ADVICE : they can prepare a hard copy first and then fill through online to avoid mistakes].
• Please upload the photo and signature of the candidate within 50 kb size only.
• In the gateway itself, the candidate has to select the Group interested (MPC, BPC, MEC and CEC), for getting admission in TSWR COE Institutions.
• Two levels of screening test will be conducted for admission into COEs in MPC & BPC groups and One level screening test will be conducted for admission into MEC & CEC groups in COEs. Mode of Question paper will be objective type (MCQs) for 1st level screening and Descriptive type for 2nd level screening.
• The admission into the following COEs will be filled 1st based on the merit obtained in the screening test and preferences given by the candidate, duly following the reservation pattern.
• In addition to the above preferences, the candidates are also instructed to opt the other remaining COEs (Non Premier) at the time of applying online.
• The candidates shall be considered for admission into COE colleges according to their option, based on the availability of seats in those Institutions and based on their merit in screening test, in that caste. The option once exercised is final and cannot be changed. Seats in COE Colleges, will be allotted based on Statewide merit of screening tests.
• The Candidates can choose COEs (Premier & Non-Premier), based on the Group opted in the payment gateway.
• The Candidates are advised to download the Hall tickets from 25.01.2024 to 03.02.2024 for appearing 1st level screening test scheduled on 04.02.2024..

Admission Test: 1st LEVEL SCREENING TEST

1. Date of test 04.02.2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
2. The test is OMR based, the test shall be for 160 marks.
3. The Questions will be of multiple choice type [MCQs].
4. Each question carries ONE mark. Each Question has only one correct / appropriate answer.
5. For each wrong answer 1/4th mark shall be deducted.
6. 4 sets of question papers (SET-A, SET-B, SET-C & SET-D) shall be there duly jumbling the questions.
7. The candidates should write and bubble the set (series) of question paper given to them in the space provided in OMR without fail. Otherwise the valuation cannot be done.

2nd LEVEL SCREENING TEST (for MPC & BPC Groups only)

• Date of test 25.02.2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• The candidates @ 1:5 will be selected for 2nd level screening test i.e., Descriptive in the selected examination centers for admission into MPC & BPC groups.

The entrance test question paper shall be in bilingual form (i.e., in both English and Telugu Media).

The medium of instruction at intermediate level is English only.

If more than one Candidate obtains same marks then DOB will be taken into consideration and if the DOB is also same then the marks obtained in subjects will be taken into consideration in the following order based on the group selected by the candidate.

1. The test will be based on the knowledge of subjects from class VIII to SSC in English / Mathematics/Bio Sci /Physical Science/Social Studies, General Knowledge and Current affairs.
2. The Secretary has right to allot candidate from one region to another region as per the availability of seats.
3. The admission into these colleges shall be according to the merit obtained in screening test, duly considering the preferences of Group / College exercised by the candidate in the ONLINE application.

Other Information

In screening tests (OMR-based), Circles should be bubbled with Blue / Black Ball point pen only and Pencils should not be used at any cost. If a pencil is used in marking/bubbling the circle, then the OMR sheet shall not be corrected/scanned.

Over-bubbling, semi-bubbling, and multiple bubbling is strictly prohibited and such bubbling shall not be valued while scanning the OMR.

If the bubbling is made with RED ballpoint pen (or) any other color (other than Blue or black) ballpoint pen, such OMRs shall not be scanned by the OMR scanning machine. Therefore, utmost care should be taken in this regard. If any candidate uses RED / other color ballpoint pen for bubbling, he / she is whole responsible for non-correction of OMR.

For the 2nd level screening test i.e., Descriptive, the candidates have to answer the given questions in Descriptive type in the given answer sheet (Subject wise).

Selected students will get all benefits extended by SC Development Department such as free boarding, lodging, dresses, stationary, amenities, Cosmetic charges, books, Medical care and Examination Fee etc., as per the decisions of the Government of Telangana State from time to time.

The result of the candidates shall be intimated through SMS to the given Mobile Number.

Hall tickets can be downloaded from 25.01.2024 to 03.02.2024 Midnight.

All the candidates who downloaded the Hall ticket, will know the centre to which he/she is allotted with clear address & Mobile No. of the Principal. The candidates are advised to visit the centre at least one day in advance for overcoming the confusion in finding the locations and make their own transport arrangement to reach the centre safely, on time. No claim or complaint shall be entertained from any candidate / parent / relative for difficulty in finding location and late report.

Submission of Application Form: Through ONLINE:

• The applicant here to submit his / her application through ONLINE visiting website www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in for tribal welfare.
• Registration fee for submission of application through ONLINE may be Rs.100/-.
• Before filling the application through online the candidates may be asked to read the information already uploaded in the website www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in
• The 100 kb pass port size photo and 50 kb signature of the student may be permitted to upload.
• The Candidates may be advised to collect the Hall-tickets immediately after submission of application through online. The same has to be certified by the Principal / Head Master, where the candidate is studying.

TTWREIS Sports Schools and Seats Details

The Physical fitness Test may be in Practical type (Physical Fitness Test). Only the meritorious students from the Physical fitness Test may be permitted to attend Physical Screening Test, the selected students will get admission into 23 Mega Sports academies & 02 Sports Schools along with all benefits which are extended by TS Gurukulam, such as free boarding, lodging, two pair of PT Dress, one Track suit, Kit Bag, Water bottle, towel etc.
Final Selection of Students: The 30 students who are selected as per norms will be given admission into Mega Academies of TTWRS Institutions. The 80 students who are selected as per norms will be given admission into Sports School of TTWRS Institutions.
