University Grants Commission (UGC) announced the new UGC NET Syllabus 2025. As per the latest reports, the UGC issued the revised NET Syllabus online from the official website @ ugc.ac.in. The candidates who applied for the UGC NET have to download the UGC NET Syllabus PDF from here. For the candidates who applied for those aspirants the UGC NET exam, the competition is very high. 90 subjects were asked in the UGC NET. Moreover, several committees took part to cover all the subjects. As soon as possible, candidates download the UGC NET Syllabus from here.

UGC has decided to revise the NET syllabus to reflect changes in what is taught in different universities and colleges and ensure that the revised syllabus meets the current requirements of higher education.

UGC NET Syllabus Paper – 1
Paper I of CBSE UGC NET is a General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude. This Paper aims to test the candidate’s Cognitive, communication, and reasoning abilities and quality of life through interaction with people and the environment. There are 10 sections, and each section will have 5 questions (i.e., 50 objective-type questions); these 5 questions will carry 10 marks (i.e., 10×10=100 marks).

CBSE UGC NET 2018 Syllabus – Paper II and III
Papers II and III of the Exam will focus on the specialization, i.e., subject selected by the candidate. A separate set of syllabi is given for Paper II and Paper III. All the questions of papers II and III will be compulsory, covering the entire syllabus (including all electives, without options).
- Paper II: 50 objective-type questions (compulsory) on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question carries 2 marks (50×2=100 marks).
- Paper III – 75 objective-type questions (compulsory) based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question carries 2 marks (75×2=150 marks).
