Western Railway invites ONLINE applications from the eligible sports persons who are citizens of India, for filling up 21 posts of group ‘C’ and 43 (erstwhile Group ‘D’) posts of group ‘D’ of the Sports Quota (as in item 2) for the year 2025-26 over Western Railway. Western Railway Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess the following requisite Educational Qualifications as on the date of closure of the application.

Note:
- Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should qualify Typing proficiency Test of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of four years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional.
- Candidates possessing higher qualification should produce relevant certificate at the time of trial.
- Candidates awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed educational qualification are not eligible and hence need not apply.
Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2026. Candidates born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive) should only apply. Age Relaxations for SC/ST/BC/PWD and Other Reserved Contenders will be provided as per the rules.
Salary Details
Selected Candidates candidates will Get Salary Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- Per Month as Per Regulations of Western Railway
