TG IIIT RGUKT-Basar Admission 2026-27 Apply Online for 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program

The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basar, Telangana, has released a notification for the Admissions for the 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program for the Academic Year
2026-27. There are 1500 Seats at Basar and 180 Seats at Mahabubnagar Campuses.

Important Note: In RGUKT-Basar admissions, 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State), and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be filled from Other States.

TG RGUKT IIIT B.Tech Admission 2026-27 Notification

The notification for Admissions to the 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program for the Academic Year 2026-27 at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT)-Basar, for the constituent institutes at Basar Campus (1500 Intake) and Mahabubnagar Campus (180 Intake), has been released. The applications should be submitted through ONLINE MODE only TS online centre/ Meeseva/ University website www.rgukt.ac.in. The Registration process starts on March 18, 2026, and counselling will start on June 5, 2026.

The process of submitting an application comprises the following steps:

1. Fill out the online application form and obtain the application ID after submitting your details.
2. Pay the application fee as applicable.
3. Print the filled-in application form.
4. Only PH/CAP/NCC/Sports applicants have to post their online filled in printed application

IIIT Basar – Courses Offered

The 6-Year Integrated Engineering course is divided into the following two categories:

a) Pre-University Course (2 years):

The M.P.C. course will include the following subjects.
a. Mathematics
b. Physics
c. Chemistry
d. English
e. Telugu/ Sanskrit (Sanskrit will be offered for non-Telugu students who have not studied a second language as Telugu)

b) B.Tech (4 years): The following streams will be offered.

a. Chemical Engineering
b. Civil Engineering
c. Computer Science & Engineering
d. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
e. Electronics & Communications Engineering
f. Metallurgical & Materials Engineering
g. Mechanical Engineering

IIIT Basar Admissions 2026-27 Eligibility

Candidates should have passed SSC (10th Class) or any other equivalent examinations in the first attempt, in the Year 2025-26, recognized by the concerned state Governments or the State Government of Telangana.

Candidates’ age must be below 18 years as on 01.06.2026 (21 years for students from SC/ST categories). Only candidates can apply.

Reservation of Seats

At RGUKT, Basar, admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un-reserved (these seats will be filled with both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh students based on their merit) as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014.

RGUKT IIIT Basar Selection Process

Admissions will be based on merit in the Total Marks and Marks obtained in each subject in 10th class (SSC/Equivalent examination conducted in 2025). As prescribed by the Government for the year 2025-26 under letter No.300/TE/A2/2025 dated 22.05.2025, deprivation score of 4 marks (4 % of maximum marks in the concerned subject) shall be added to each subject in the 10th class marks of those applicants who studied in non- residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools, with an objective of providing weightage to the socio economically challenged students in the admission process.

RGUKT Basar B.Tech Annual Fee

1. The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States schools is Rs.37,000/- per annum (It includes Rs.1000/- examination fee per Annum). In addition to this, every student has to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all) and medical insurance of Rs. 700/- approximately for first two years (by all), that is a total of Rs.3,700/- (Rs 3,200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.
2. Students who are eligible for fee reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments (as per the latest Govt. rules) may apply. The scholarship-eligible students from Telangana State need to pay the tuition fee, and it will be refunded by RGUKT as and when the scholarship is sanctioned by the respective state.

• The provisionally selected candidates shall report in person to the Coordinator, UG Admissions RGUKT-Basar, Nirmal District, Telangana State, to verify their original certificates/documents and any details provided by the applicants in the application form as per the schedule.
• The candidates belonging to the Special Categories, such as Physically Challenged (PH), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP), NCC, and Sports, shall report in person on the allotted dates at RGUKT, Basar.

The list of candidates selected for counselling will be displayed on the University website www.rgukt.ac.in or www.admissions.rgukt.ac.in. The candidates will also be informed by post, e-mail, and SMS, wherever possible, at the address/mobile number provided in the application form.

Admission to the first year of the 6-Year Integrated Engineering Program at the University will be granted only after satisfactory verification and scrutiny of the details mentioned in the application form against the original certificates/documents submitted by the candidate at the time of certificate verification. After certificate verification, candidates will be admitted in accordance with RGUKT rules.

• The provisionally selected candidates shall report in person to the Convener, UG Admissions, RGUKT-Basar, Nirmal District, Telangana State, for verification of their original certificates/documents and any details provided by the applicants in the application form, as per the schedule.
• The candidates belonging to the Special Categories like Physically Challenged (PH), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP), NCC and Sports shall report in person on allotted dates (intimated through RGUKT website www.rgukt.ac.in) at RGUKT, Basar.

Annual Fee Details

The tuition fee for the first year for candidates who studied in schools in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States is Rs. 37,000/- (including Rs. 1,000/- examination fee). In addition to this, every student has to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all) and medical insurance of Rs. 700/- approximately for first two years (by all), that is a total of Rs.3,700/- (Rs 3,200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.
