Railway Group D Recruitment 2026 Vacancies

The RRB has announced a total of 22,195 vacancies for Level-1 posts. The majority of these openings are for the post of Track Maintainer Grade IV, followed by Pointsman and Assistant positions in various technical departments like Electrical, Engineering, and S&T.

Educational Qualifications 

Candidate should have completed 10 Class/ITI from any recognized by NCVT / SCVT (or) equivalent (or) National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be recruited at Level-1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

• Basic Pay: ₹18,000/- per month.

• Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and others as per Indian Railway rules.

Selection Process 

The recruitment process shall comprise of the following stages:

1. Computer Based Tests (CBT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Document Verification (DV) and
4. Medical Examination (ME)
