The AIAPGET 2026 Notification has been released on 16 April 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) invites online applications for the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Examination (AIAPGET) 2026 for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH Courses for the academic session 2026-25.
AIAPGET 2026 Overview
AIAPGET 2026 will be a single entrance examination, namely All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test 2026 for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH Courses for the academic session 2026-25, which will include the following:
- There are all-India and State quota seats for admission to MD/ MS Courses in the Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy system of medicine for all AYUSH Colleges, Institutions, and universities/ Deemed Universities across the country.
No other AYUSH Colleges, Institutions, Universities, or deemed Universities shall conduct a separate entrance exam for admission to AYUSH MD/MS Courses for the academic session 2026-25.
AIAPGET 2026 Online Application Form
Admissions to MD/MS in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy Courses will be taken through the AIAPGET 2026 Exam. The Online Applications will be conducted from 16th April 2026 to 15th May 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).
Once the AIAPGET 2026 application process is completed, candidates can appear in the All India AYUSH PG Entrance Test for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy 2026. According to the Notification, the AIAPGET Exam Date will be intimated later.
AIAPGET 2026 Notification
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Information Bulletin for the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026. AIAPGET 2026 serves as the singular common entrance examination for aspirants seeking admission to Postgraduate MD/MS courses in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy (ASU & H) for the academic session 2026–27.
This national-level entrance test covers all All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats across AYUSH colleges, institutions, universities, and deemed universities nationwide. No separate entrance exams will be conducted by any other institution for these courses.

AIAPGET 2026 Eligibility
Candidates in possession of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree or Provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973/ NCISM 2020/NCH 2020 Act and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH/NCISM/NCH/State Board/Universities/Deemed Universities and have completed one year of internship or/are likely to complete the internship as per the NCISM/NCH/AYUSH notification, may apply for AIAPGET 2026 through Online Application Registration system at website www.aiapget.nta.nic.in
- Candidates having bachelor’s degree in BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree or Provisional BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/ BHMS pass certificate recognized under IMCC Act, 1970/HCC Act, 1973 can apply through online application registration system OR
- Those who have a permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by CCIM/CCH/State Board/University/ Deemed University and have completed the one-year internship or are likely to complete it before the date of counseling may apply for AIAPGET.
- Candidate must complete the internship program before the commencement of the counseling process; otherwise, the competent authority will cancel their candidature.

How to Apply for AIAPGET Admission Notification 2026
Registration
- Move the cursor towards the “ALL INDIA AYUSH POST GRADUATE ENTRANCE TEST (AIAPGET) 2026 Information Bulletin” link available in the middle.
- Go through the AIAPGET 2026 Notification carefully and ensure your eligibility.
- After that, hit on the Apply Online tab at the top; from the next page, hit “Hit here for New Registration.”
- Complete all the details asked in AIAPGET Online Registration form and then hit on Save and Continue tab
Uploading of Photograph and Signature
- Once the registration form is complete, upload the scanned passport-sized photograph and signature according to the size prescribed:
- The photograph must be 4.5cm X 3.5 cm and size 20kb -50kb.
- The signature file should be between 10kb and 20kb and signed in blue/black ink on white paper. After uploading the images, hit the “Next” button.
Fill in Details
- Once you are done with the previous step, move towards completing the rest details, including educational qualifications, entering the choice of examination center, personal details, and contact information.
- Afterward hit on “Save and Next” button
Validate details
- “Validate the details” by using the validating tab,
- Before validating the details once, recheck them and then edit if you find any incorrect information
- Once you hit the final submission tab no alteration will be possible
Step V- Make Payment
- Finally, pay the requisite amount of application fees
- Use only online method i.e. Credit Card/Debit Card or Net banking procedure and then hit on save tab
Step VI- Print Out
- Finally, take a printout of the filled-up application form by using the Application Print tab
- Keep the printout of the filled-up application form for further usage

AIAPGET Exam Pattern 2026
- The upcoming examination will be a computer-based platform test (CBT) which will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- The question paper will contain a total of 100 MCQs, where the candidate needs to mark the correct response from the given choices.
- The allotted time for the exam is 90 minutes (1.5 hours).
- For every correct response, the candidate will be awarded 1 mark, and for every wrong attempt, 0.25 marks shall be deducted.
- There will be a demo test before the start of the actual exam. Applicants must reach the exam center by the reporting time.

Marking Scheme:
- Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
- The candidate will get 04 (4) marks for each correct response.
- For each incorrect response, 01 (1) mark will be deducted from the total score.
- Unanswered/un-attempted will be given no marks.
- To answer a question, the candidate must choose one option as the correct one.
- However, after the Challenges of the Answer Key process, if there are multiple correct options or changes in the key, only candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.
- In case a Question is dropped due to a technical error, all candidates will receive full marks, regardless of whether they attempted it or not.
- In case of any ambiguity in translation/construction of a question in the exam, its English version shall be treated as final and the decision of NTA shall be final in this regard.
