AP PGCET 2026 Cutoff Details
To participate in the counselling and admission process, candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying cutoff marks prescribed by the conducting university:
General / OBC Category: The minimum qualifying mark is typically set at 25% of the maximum marks (which is 30 marks out of a total of 120 marks).
SC / ST Category: There are no minimum qualifying marks required for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories. Rank allocation will be based on the absolute scores obtained.
Note: Valid GATE and GPAT score holders are often given preference over AP PGECET candidates during seat allotment and do not need to write the test.

AP PGCET 2026 Exam Details
The AP PGCET 2026 was conducted strictly in an online, computer-based test (CBT) mode across designated examination centres in Andhra Pradesh. The exams were held over three consecutive days from April 28 to April 30, 2026. The question paper consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each worth 1 mark, with a total duration of 120 minutes.
