AP Schools Academic Calendar 2026-27 (అకాడెమిక్ క్యాలెండర్) for Primary, UP, and HS has been released by AP SCERT. The Education Department releases the Academic Calendar for Primary, UP, and High Schools for the 2026-27 Academic Year. AP SCERT Academic Calendar 2026-27: Highlights

1. There are 229 Working days and 87 Public Holidays for the Academic Session.
2. 5 Optional Holidays and 3 Local Holidays were provided.
3. Every Teacher must teach at least 24 periods per week, with a maximum of 30.
4. If necessary, Physics teachers can also teach Maths.
5. Every Saturday has been treated as “No Bag Day”.
6. The class readiness program for Classes 1 to 8 will start on June 12.

AP Schools Holidays 2026-27

10 New Special Observation Days

In addition to traditional national holidays, the AP government has added 10 new special days to the calendar. Schools will organize events, quizzes, and awareness programs on these dates to broaden students’ general knowledge:

• June 21: International Yoga Day
• June 26: Anti-Drug Day
• July 11: World Population Day
• August 23: National Space Day
• November 11: National Education Day
• November 26: Constitution Day
• January 3: National Women Teachers Day (Savitribai Phule Jayanthi)
• January 25: National Voters Day
• February 13: English Language Day (Sarojini Naidu Jayanthi)
• April 22: World Earth Day

AP School Examination Schedule 2026-27 FA & SA

The Commissioner of School Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh CSE AP has released the Andhra Pradesh School Academic Calendar for the Academic Year 2026-27. In this academic calendar, the government lists AP schools’ holidays, school working days, and exam schedules. Note : 1. All Formative and Summative Assessments from class III to V will be conducted in CBA mode. 2. Grades 1 & 2, has age-appropriate assessment tools in FA-1 & FA-4. 3. Any changes in the Assessment Schedule will be intimated in due course.

Mothwise Working Days for 2026-27

Mandatory Activities :

• Conduct class-wise / whole school Mathematical Tables drilling in the first 5 minutes of Maths periods every day.
• Conduct oral Mathematics practice every day.
• Conduct oral drilling on Days in a week, names of the Months, names of the Years, Directions and Corners, names of the Thidhulu, Nakshatralu, Raasulu,
• Seasons every day evening.
• Conduct paper cuttings, Clay modeling, Drawing, Singing, Dancing, Gardening, etc Activities on ‘NO BAG DAY’ for 1 to 5 Classes.
• Practice good hand writting (Cursive Writing) every day in the language periods.
• Conduct Art & Cultural Activities as per the syllabus.
• Conduct English Language Lab Activities particularly for Listening and Speaking twice in a week in English periods by using google read along app.
• Conduct Perfomance activities – Reciting poems and Narrating stories as per the syllabus given.
