Seat Details
A combined total of more than 13,000 seats are available for eligible candidates under the lateral entry scheme for Engineering, Paramedical, and Pharmacy courses across participating institutes in Bihar.
Education Requirements
Engineering Lateral Entry: Candidates must hold a 2-year or 3-year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories), OR a B.Sc. Degree with 45% marks alongside passing 10+2 with Mathematics, OR a D.Voc degree in the same or an allied sector.
Para-Medical / Pharmacy: Candidates must possess a recognized 2-year Para Medical or Pharmacy Diploma.
Age Limit (As of 31/12/2026)
Engineering: No age limit is prescribed.
Para-Medical & Pharmacy: The minimum age requirement is 18 years. There is no upper age limit.
Selection Process
