EIL Management Trainee Vacancy Details
EIL has announced a total of 59 Management Trainee positions across four core engineering disciplines. Candidates must apply under the discipline that directly corresponds to their chosen GATE 2026 paper.

Education Details
To be eligible for the Management Trainee position, candidates must meet the following academic requirements:
Degree: A full-time B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) degree in the relevant discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical).
Minimum Marks: At least 65% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA). Final-year students passing out in 2025 or 2026 are eligible provided they secure 65% by July 1, 2026.
GATE Requirement: A valid, cleared score in the corresponding paper of GATE 2026. (Scores from GATE 2024 or 2025 are strictly invalid).
Salary
During the 1-year training, candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹60,000, plus accommodation and transport. If accommodation is not provided, an additional ₹15,000 per month will be given.
Upon Absorption: After successful completion of the training and a 1-year probation period, candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000. The approximate CTC is around ₹21.00 Lakhs per annum for Construction and ₹20.10 Lakhs per annum for other sectors.
Age Limit
The upper age limits as of 01 July 2026 are as follows:
- General: 25 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 28 years
- SC / ST: 30 years
- PwD: 35 years for General, 38 years for OBC (NCL), and 40 years for SC/ST.
