RSSB Computer Instructor Vacancy Details

The RSSB is looking to fill a total of 3951 vacancies across two departments. This massive drive includes 3629 posts for Basic Computer Instructors and 322 posts for Senior Computer Instructors, spanning both Non-Scheduled and Scheduled areas.

Education Details

Candidates must fulfill the following educational criteria:

• Senior Computer Instructor: Applicants must hold a Master in Engineering (M.E.) or Master in Technology (M.Tech.) in CS/IT/ECE/EE/EEE/ETE/EIE, OR an M.Sc. in CS/IT, OR a Master in Computer Application (MCA) / ‘B’ Level / ‘C’ Level, OR an equivalent higher qualification recognized by the Government.
• Basic Computer Instructor: Applicants must be a Graduate with an ‘A’ LEVEL/PGDCA (minimum one year), OR possess a B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE/EE/EEE/EIC/TIE, OR hold a B.Sc. in CS/IT, OR a BCA from a recognized university, OR an equivalent/higher qualification.
• Common Requirement: All applicants must have practical knowledge of Hindi written in the Devanagari script and an understanding of Rajasthani culture.

Salary Details

• Senior Computer Instructor: The salary is fixed at Pay Matrix Level-10 as per the 7th Pay Commission.
• Basic Computer Instructor: The salary is fixed at Pay Matrix Level-8 as per the 7th Pay Commission.
• During the probation period, a fixed monthly remuneration will be paid as per the State Government orders.

Age Limit

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and not have reached 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027.
• For the Secondary Education Department posts, all applicants will receive an additional 3-year relaxation in the upper age limit because no recruitment has been conducted since 2022.
• Further upper age limit relaxations apply for reserved categories (e.g., 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/MBC males of Rajasthan and General females; 10 years for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/MBC females of Rajasthan).

Selection Process

• Written Examination: The selection will be based on a competitive exam consisting of Paper-I (100 marks, 2 hours) and Paper-II (100 marks, 2 hours). There is a negative marking of 1/3rd for every wrong answer.
• Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for eligibility checking and document verification.

• General/OBC (Creamy Layer)/MBC (Creamy Layer): Rs. 600/-
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/MBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/SC/ST of Rajasthan: Rs. 400/-
• PwD Candidates: Rs. 400/-
