TG D.Pharmacy Admission 2026-27 Notification Out:  The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, Hyderabad, has released the admission notification for the two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy) course for the academic year 2026-27. Applications are invited from eligible candidates seeking admission into Government, Aided, and Private Unaided institutions across Telangana under the Department of Technical Education.

TG D.Pharmacy Admission – Important Dates

Candidates must adhere to the following timeline provided in the official notification:

• Commencement for Submission of Application: 24-07-2026

• Last Date for Payment of Fee (Without Fine): 06-08-2026 (Up to 05:00 PM)

• Last Date for Payment of Fee (With Late Fee of ₹100): 07-08-2026 (Up to 05:00 PM)

• Last Date for Submission of Applications: 07-08-2026 (Up to 05:00 PM)

• Declaration of Merit List / Rank: 11-08-2026

• Counselling Dates: 13-08-2026 & 14-08-2026

Important Note: Physical attendance with all original certificates is mandatory on the counselling dates starting at 9:00 AM at Government Polytechnic, Masab Tank, Hyderabad.

TG D.Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate (BiPC or MPC) or an equivalent examination in the regular stream from a recognized Board.

• As per Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) norms, candidates who passed through the Open School education system from Central or State Government institutions are also eligible.

2. Ineligibility

• As per PCI norms, Intermediate Vocational courses in MLT (Medical Lab Technician) and bridge courses are not eligible for admission into D.Pharmacy.

3. Domicile & Nationality

• Applicants must be Indian citizens and fulfill Local / Non-Local status rules as per the applicable regulations in Telangana.

Reservation Policies

• EWS Reservation: 10% reservation as per G.O.Ms.No. 244 (Valid Income & Asset certificate required).

• ST Reservation: 10% reservation as per G.O.Ms.No. 33.

• PH Reservation: 5% reservation for candidates with 40% and above disability.

• CAP Reservation: 2% reservation for Children of Armed Forces personnel domiciled in Telangana.

• SC, BC & Minorities: Reservations applicable as per existing government rules.

Selection & Merit List Generation

• Seat Allocation: Seats in each institution are distributed equally between MPC and BiPC stream candidates. If seats remain vacant in one stream, they can be filled by candidates from the other stream.

• Merit Calculation: Admissions are based on merit calculated from optional subjects marks (out of 600) in Intermediate or equivalent.

• Normalisation: Marks for CBSE/ICSE candidates will be scaled to 600 in optional subjects and 1000 in aggregate to ensure uniform ranking.

• Single Attempt Priority: Candidates passing in a single attempt receive first priority in rank generation, followed by compartmental/re-attempt candidates.

Application Fee

• SC / ST Candidates: ₹300

• Other Candidates: ₹500

• Payment should be made via Online / QR Code payment in favor of “STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING”, payable at Hyderabad.

1. Download Application Form: Visit the official website www.sbtet.telangana.gov.in and download the D.Pharmacy application form.

2. Pay Application Fee: Pay the application fee through Online/QR Code payment to SBTET, Hyderabad.

3. Fill the Form: Complete all personal, contact, academic, and college preference details accurately.

4. Enclose Documents: Attach self-attested copies of all necessary certificates along with the payment receipt.

5. Submit Application: Submit the filled-in application form in all respects to The Principal, Government Polytechnic, Masab Tank, Hyderabad on or before 07-08-2026 (5:00 PM).
