TG CPGET 2026 Registration will Start soon at the official Website. Online Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed or appearing for the final semester (year) examination in the qualifying degree / Intermediate for entrance tests and admission into various P.G. Courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., MCJ, M.Ed., M.P.Ed., etc) and 5 yrs. Integrated Programmes (M.A., M.Sc., & MBA) offered by Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana, Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities in their campus, constituent and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2026-2027.

The Telangana State Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (TS CPGET) 2026 is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted once a year for admissions into various P.G. Courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., MCJ, M.Lib.Sc., M.Ed., M.P.Ed., etc.), P.G. Diploma Course and 5 yrs. Integrated Programmes (M.A., M.Sc., MBA) offered by Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana, Telangana Mahila Viswavidyalayam and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities in their campus, constituent and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2026-26.  TS CPGET 2026 Exam will be conducted online from 1st week of August, 2026.

అర్హత వివరాలు

ఎంఏ, మాస్టర్ ఆఫ్ లైబ్రరీ సైన్స్, ఎంఎస్ డబ్ల్యు, ఎంహెన్ఆర్ఎం, ఎంటీఎం ప్రోగ్రామ్లలో ప్రవేశా నికి ఏదేని డిగ్రీ, ఎంఏ లాంగ్వేజ్ ప్రోగ్రామ్లలో ప్రవేశానికి సంబంధిత లాంగ్వేజ్ సబ్జెక్టులతో డిగ్రీ పూర్తిచేసి ఉండాలి. కనీసం 40 శాతం మార్కులు తప్పనిసరి. ఎంకాం కోర్సుల్లో ప్రవేశానికి బీకాం ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉండాలి.

ఎంఈడీలో ప్రవేశానికి బిఈజీ ఎంపీఈడీలో ప్రవేశానికి బీపీఈడీ/ బీపీ ఈ ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉండాలి. కనీసం 55 శాతం మార్కులు తప్పనిసరి.

దీనిని సీబీటీ విధానంలో నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఇందులో సంబంధిత సబ్జెక్ట్ నుంచి మొత్తం 100 మల్టిపుల్ చాయిస్ ప్రశ్నలు ఇస్తారు. అనాలజీస్, క్లాసిఫికేషన్, మ్యాచింగ్, కాంప్రహెన్షన్ ఆఫ్ రీసెర్చ్ స్టడీ/ఎక్స్పరిమెంట్/ థియరీ అంశాల ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతారు.

TS CPGET 2026 Application Fee 

The registration fee for a single subject is Rs.800/- for OC/BC candidates and Rs.600/- for SC/ST/PH candidates. For each additional subject, the fee is Rs.450/- for all categories.

TS CPGET 2026 Eligibility

Candidates should be Passed or Appeared for the Final year Examination in the courses of B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.PEd from Recognised Universities in the State.

For all the Courses under Faculty of Arts the Candidates must have secured the following % of marks or CGPA in their Qualifying Examination:

1. Candidates should have passed in the Qualifying Examination with not less than 40% marks or equivalent CGPA. A pass in the Qualifying Examination is sufficient for SC/ST candidates.
2. The candidates passing the examination compartmentally and securing required percentage of marks or equivalent CGPA are also eligible.
3. All the courses are of two years duration.

B. Pharm. / B.Sc.(MLT) / B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Home Science) / B.Tech. / B.E. Graduates are not eligible for M.Sc. Courses. However, B.E./B.Tech. graduates are eligible for M.Sc. (Geo-Informatics) and Food Science & Technology. B.Sc. (MLT) graduates are eligible for M.Sc. Biochemistry & M.Sc. Microbiology.

TS CPGET 2026 Exam Pattern

The entrance tests in all the subjects (including M.P.Ed.) will consist of 100 multiple choice objective type questions for 100 marks. There is no negative marking. Pattern of Entrance Test for Admission into M.Sc. Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Fermentation Technology, Genetics and Microbiology is as follows. Based on the Exam Pattern Candidates can prepare a Time Table for their Study. candidates who get good scores are getting Admission in the Best Universities in the State.

1. The entrance tests in all the subjects will be of 90 minutes duration the question paper consists of 100 objective (multiple choice only) type questions for 100 marks.
2. The entrance test will consist of any 3 or 4 varieties of objective type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study / experiment / theoretical point of view, etc., with multiple answers besides the usual multiple choice items. The items will be framed only from the syllabus of entrance test.
3. Pattern of Entrance Test for Admission into M.Sc. Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Genetics and Microbiology is as follows. Candidates have to appear for a common entrance test, namely BCESFSG&M comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 Marks) and Part-B (One of the optional studied at B.Sc. level among the optional subjects: Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology and Biochemistry) for 60 Marks.
4. The pattern of Entrance Test for Admissions into M.Sc. Bio-Technology comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 marks) and part-B (Bio-Technology for 60 Marks)
