IMU CET 2026: Exam Details

The IMU CET 2026 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with a total of 200 questions for UG programs and 120 questions for PG programs. The medium of the exam is English.

IMU CET 2026: Eligibility Details

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to appear for IMU CET 2026:

1. Undergraduate (UG) Programmes (B.Tech, B.Sc, DNS)

  • Educational Qualification: 10+2/equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

  • English Marks: Minimum 50% marks in English in 10th or 12th standard.

  • Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible.

2. Postgraduate (PG) Programmes (M.Tech, MBA)

  • M.Tech: B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline (Marine/Civil/Mechanical/Naval Architecture) with at least 60% aggregate marks.

  • MBA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Relaxation:

  • SC/ST Candidates: 5% relaxation in eligibility marks (PCM/Degree), but no relaxation in English marks.
