AP ADCET 2024: BFA B.Des Application Form, Eligibility, Dates, Pattern

Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University, Kadapa, released the ADCET 2024 Notification on April 22, 2024. YSR AFAU conducts AP ADCET 2024 on behalf of APSCHE. The Online Application for Art and Design Common Entrance Test (ADCET) are accepted from 23rd April to 22nd May 2024. Admissions into the first year of the following professional courses offered by Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University, Kadapa (State level specialized University) (Established under Sub Section (2) of the Section(1) of the Jawaharlal Nehru J A.P Legislature Act No.15 of 2020) by conducting 4 computer based Art and Design Common Entrance Test-2024 (ADCET – 2024) of Andhra Pradesh through Dr.YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University, Kadapa on behalf of APSCHE for the academic year 2024-2025:

1. Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting/Sculpture/Animation/Applied Arts/Photography.
2. Bachelor of Design (B.Design) in Interior Design.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 in any group (MPC/MEC/BiPC/MBiPC/CEC/HEC (or) Equivalent, etc.) can appear for ADCET-2024. However, Eligible candidates wishing to apply for ADCET-2024 must read the Notification from the link below.

ADCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed 10+2 in any group (MPC/MEC/BiPC/MBiPC/CEC/HEC or Equivalent Course, etc.) can appear for ADCET-2024.

Achieving qualifying marks (OC & BC – 25%, SC/ST—No minimum qualifying marks ) in ADCET- 2024 is the minimum eligibility for admission into all courses. Seat allotment will be based on the rank obtained in ADCET-2024.

ADCET 2024: Important Documents required while Applying Online

The following information must be kept ready for filling out the online application form.

1. Hall ticket number of the qualifying examination (from the intermediate/10+2Certificate (or) Equivalent certificate from the Concern Boards & Govt Agencies).
2. Percentage of marks in qualifying examination (from marks memo of intermediate /10+2 Certificate (or) Equivalent Certificates)
3. Hall ticket Number and Percentage of 10^th Class(from 10^th class Memo Certificate)
4. Name &Date of Birth(from 10^th Class Memo)
5. Caste in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS (from Caste Certificate issued by MRO)
6. PH, NCC, Sports, CAP etc.(from certificate issued by competent authority)
7. Parents’ income (from the latest ‘Income Certificate’ issued by MRO).
8. Study / bonafide certificate from 6th class to Intermediate or residence certificate or relevant certificate for proof of local status (from study / bonafide certificates issued by School/College).
9. Aadhaar Card Details (from Aadhaar card).
10. A recent passport-size digital color photograph (file size less than 100KB in JPEG file format) and the candidate’s signature (file size less than 50KB in JPEG format) should be uploaded in the space provided.
11. Candidate shall furnish a valid mobile number and Email ID.

ADCET 2024 Application Fee

Candidates who want to apply for both Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) must pay the prescribed fee (Opt for a specific BFA/B. Design course in the order of priority). The Registration fee for OC -1000/- (for BC -750/-and for SC / ST Rs. 500/-) has to be paid online only using Credit Card /Debit Card / Net Banking/Unified Payment Interfaces. 

ADCET Application Form 2024

The ADCET Application Form 2024 has Opened on April 21, 2024 and concludes on May 20, 2024. So all the candidates fill the ADCET Application Form 2024 via online. We have provided some steps to apply for the ADCET 2024.

The candidates who wish to apply for the ART AND DESIGN COMMON ENTRANCE TEST – 2024 (ADCET-2024) are requested to fill out the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM by collecting the required information from the relevant certificates.

How to Apply for ADCET 2024

1. The Candidates are advised to refer to the Eligibility, Intake, Tuition Fee, Pattern of Examination, Time Table and Rules of Reservation for admission before filling the application form.
2. The candidates who wish to apply for the ART AND DESIGN COMMON ENTRANCE TEST – 2024(ADCET-2024) are requested to fill the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM by collecting the required information from the relevant certificates.
3. All entries should be correct, and the candidate will be held personally responsible for any incorrect entry he/she makes.
4. Any false or incorrect statement in the application detected at any stage will render the candidate’s admission null and void.
5. Candidates must check the filled-in particulars before pressing the SUBMIT button. No changes will be allowed after the submission button is pressed.

AP ADCET 2024 Courses, Intake, Fee Details

There shall be 15% Supernumerary seats above and beyond. Admissions will be taken exclusively from students of other States of India / NRI / Foreign Students.

Candidates who are eligible for fee reimbursement under SC/ST category whose parents’ annual income is less than Rs.2,00,000/- and for BC/OC candidates whose parents’ annual income is less than Rs.1,00,000/- holding an income certificate eligible for fee reimbursement from the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

All other candidates admitted under regular admission should pay the tuition fee specified by the University.

There is a Computer Lab fee of Rs.1,000/—and a study tour/visit fee of Rs. 1000/—extra for all Students who get admission.

AP ADCET 2024 Important Links

ADCET 2024 Exam Pattern

ADCET is a Computer-Based Test that lasts 2 hours. The candidate must attempt 100 Multiple-Choice Questions. Each Question carries one Mark, and there is no negative Marking. 

Questions will be in bilingual (English and Telugu).
