NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 Education Details

Applicants must possess a B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc (Engineering), or a 5-year Integrated M.Tech degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university or institute. Furthermore, candidates must hold a valid GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026 score in the corresponding engineering paper.

Salary

During the one-year training period, Executive Trainees receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 55,000, along with a one-time book allowance. Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C in Group ‘A’. The starting basic pay will be Rs. 56,100/- (Pay Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix), supplemented by Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other central government benefits.

Age Limit

• General / EWS Candidates: Maximum 26 Years

• OBC (NCL) Candidates: Maximum 29 Years

• SC / ST Candidates: Maximum 31 Years

• PwBD Candidates: Additional age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.

Selection Process

The selection methodology comprises the following stages:

1. Shortlisting of candidates based on valid GATE scores in the relevant engineering discipline.
