Education Qualification
- Medical Candidates: Must possess a medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Additionally, candidates should have a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution.
- Non-Medical Candidates: Should have a Master’s degree (M.Sc) in the concerned discipline from a UGC-recognized university. Ph.D. holders in the relevant field are also eligible.

AIIMS Bathinda is offering 153 Senior Resident positions across various departments. The appointments are initially for one year and, based on performance and departmental requirements, extendable up to three years.
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 45 years as on 20 November 2025.
Age Relaxation:
- OBC candidates: 3 years
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 years
Note: No age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
