AP DEECET 2025 Apply Online, Eligibility, Dates

The School Education Department, Govt of Andhra Pradesh, has released a Notification for the Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (DEECET-2025). Those who have passed or appeared for the Intermediate
Examination and seeking admission into a two-year (four semesters) D.El.Ed. Course for the academic year 2025-26: Must apply for this Entrance Exam.  AP DEECET 2025 will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on 02nd and 3rd June 2025.

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) offered in Government District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the A.P. State. AP DEECET 2025 Notification

AP DEECET Exam is a State Level Common Entrance Test conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, to provide admissions into two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed) in Government District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) in AP. Every year, Andhra Pradesh DSE conducts the AP DEECET Exam for interested & eligible candidates who intend to be admitted into the full-time D.Ed (2 years) programs in DIETs with the release of the AP DIETCET Notification 2025. AP DEECET 2025 D.El.Ed Entrance Application Form

All Eligible and Interested Candidates can submit the AP DIET CET TTC Online Applications on its official website, apdeecet.apcfss.in on or before the last date. Applicants can also get the AP DEECET Online Application Link here.

AP DEECET 2025: Process of Admission

Online applications for AP DEECET 2025 are invited from candidates who intend to be admitted into the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) in Government District Institutes of Education and Training (D.I.E.Ts) and other Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state, to be conducted by the Dept. of School Education, Govt of A.P. on 24th May 2025 in all 13 Districts of Andhra Pradesh. 

In DEECET-2025, English-medium seats are also available in certain Government DIETs and Private D.El.Ed. Colleges to the extent of approximately 7000, and the number of seats may vary at the time of web options. 

Candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination for appearing in the DEECET for both ‘A’ and ‘B’ category seats. The minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying Examination for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Physically Challenged candidates shall, however, be 45% for both ‘A’ and ‘B’ category seats.

AP DEECET 2025 Eligibility 

The eligibility criteria for admission into D.El.Ed. Course shall be as mentioned below:

Eligibility

  1. The candidates should be of Indian Nationality and satisfy the Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order, 1974, as subsequently amended from time to time, for admission into all Government DIETS and unaided Non-Minority and Minority Elementary Teacher Training Institutions.
  2. Candidates should have secured a rank in DEECET conducted for the academic year concerned for admission into Government DIETs and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions. They should satisfy the educational criteria prescribed for the course as shown at (iii) below. For obtaining a DEECET rank, candidates belonging to the “OC” and “BC” communities shall secure a minimum of 50% marks in DEECET. For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Physically Challenged candidates, the minimum qualifying mark for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories will be 45%. That is to say candidates belonging to SC and ST communities should secure 50% of marks for consideration against seats under OC/ NCC / CAP /Sports category.

Educational Qualification

For seats in all Government DIETs and Category ‘A’ and ‘B’ seats of Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions

  1. The candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the DEECET Committee for appearing in AP DEECET-2025. However, he/she should have passed the qualifying examination at admission.
  2. Candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination for appearing in the DEECET for both ‘A’ and ‘B’ category seats. However, the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying Examination for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Physically Challenged candidates shall be 45% for both ‘A’ and ‘B’ category seats.
  • Mathematics:- Those who studied Mathematics as a subject at Intermediate level
  • Physical Science: – Those who studied Physics & Chemistry as subjects at Intermediate level
  • Biological Science: – Those who studied Botany & Zoology as subjects at Intermediate level
  • Social Studies: – Those who studied any of two subjects out of Civics, Economics, History, Geography and Commerce at Intermediate level

Note: The candidates who passed Intermediate with Vocational Courses are not eligible.

Age Limit

  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of 1 September of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit for admission into the D.El.Ed course.

AP DEECET/DIETCET 2025 Application Fee

After satisfying herself/himself about the eligibility criteria for DEECET, the candidate shall pay a fee of Rs.750/- through the Payment Gateway. The candidate has to give the required preliminary data (i.e., candidate’s name, Date of birth, Gender, whether the candidate belongs to A.P., and mobile phone number). Upon receipt of the fee through the gateway, the candidate shall be issued a ‘Journal Number’ with which she/he can apply online. Issue of Journal Number does not mean the candidate has completed the online application submission. It is only a confirmation of the fee received.

 AP DEECET – 2025 Exam Centers

DEECET—2025 shall be conducted in all 26 Districts of the A.P. State. Candidates can choose any District for online examination centers. If the examination slot in the opted district is exhausted due to capacity, a nearby district center will be allotted.

AP DEECET 2025: What are Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates should have secured a rank in DEECET conducted for the Academic Year concerned for admission into Government DIETs and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions. They must meet the educational criteria prescribed for the course, as outlined below. To obtain a DEECET rank.

AP DEECET 2025: How to Apply Online

The candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the DEECET website https://cse.ap.gov.in & https://apdeecet.apcfss.in and go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for DEECET, 2025.

  • Log on to the official website official portal i.e, apdeecet.apcfss.in or directly go to the link attached here.
  • The homepage of the official site will appear on the screen.
  • Find the related link, “APDEECET 2025 Notification,” on the homepage of the official website.
  • Read the details provided in AP TTC Entrance Exam Notification 2025 carefully.
  • Ensure the AP DIETCET Eligibility & click on the “Apply Online” tab.
  • Fill out the AP DEECET Application form 2025 with all the necessary details.
  • Pay the application fee through the proper channels.
  • Upload the scanned images of the photo & signature if required.
  • Verify all the details in the AP DIETCET 2025 Application form before submitting it.
  • Then, click on the “Submit” button & keep the hard copy of the AP D.Ed TTC Application form for further reference.

AP DEECET 2025 Exam Pattern

AP DEECET 2025 exam will be an objective type exam. Candidates will be asked 100 MCQ questions. The question paper will be divided into two parts, i.e., Part A and Part B. Part A will be 60 marks, whereas Part B will be 40 marks.

Note:

  • The subject and syllabi of the test shall be of the standard of Classes VI to X of A.P.
  • State New Syllabus for Part-A & Part B A.P. State Intermediate syllabus
  • The medium of the Entrance Test: The question paper shall be in Telugu, Urdu, Tamil, or English, depending on the medium opted by the candidate.
  • English Medium: Candidates who have studied Intermediate English are alone eligible for admission to seats in the English medium offered by the Institution concerned.
  • Telugu/Urdu/Tamil medium: Candidates who have studied SSC/Intermediate in the medium concerned (Telugu, Urdu, or Tamil) or who studied Telugu or Urdu or Tamil as the first language in SSC or its equivalent or who studied one of the above languages as the second language in the Intermediate exam are alone eligible for admission to seats into the concerned medium, viz. Telugu/Urdu/ /Tamil offered by the Institution concerned.
  • Only candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the DEECET shall be assigned ranks in order of merit in their respective mediums.
  • No requests for re-totaling of marks, revaluation of answer scripts or personal identification of answer scripts will be entertained.
  • The DEECET will be conducted at different examination centers to be constituted at the District Headquarters and any other places identified by the District Authorities.
  • Tamil medium candidates should write the test in the Chittoor district headquarters only.
