AP Govt DIETs Lecturers Recruitment 2025 under FSTC Rules

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has officially released the DIET Lecturers Recruitment 2025 notification, Rc.No.ESE02-11021/53/2025-SCERT Dt, dated 22-10-2025, under the Department of School Education to fill vacant lecturer and senior lecturer posts in various District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) across the state. The selection will be made through a transparent process involving written tests and interviews, under deputation (FSTC) basis from eligible teachers and education officers. 

Strengthening of all District Institute of Education and Training (DIETs) – Filling up of the Teaching vacancies by way of deputations from eligible School Assistants for the year 2025-26

Overview

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, and Principals of DIETs in the state are informed that, there are teaching vacancies in DIETs which could not be filled up due to court cases on unified service rules. Further, It is not feasible to consider promoting the school assistants and post in regular vacancies of the teaching positions in DIETs. There is a dire need to provide teaching faculty to impart regular academic instructions to the teacher trainees in DIETs.

Vacancy Details

There are 95 total vacancies for Lecturer and Senior Lecturer posts across all DIETs in Andhra Pradesh. These posts will be filled on a temporary deputation basis under FSTC rules.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks.

• Must also possess an M.Ed. with a minimum of 55% marks.

• Candidates should be working as School Assistants, Headmasters, or MEOs in Government / Zilla Parishad / Municipal schools.

• Should have completed a minimum of 5 years of service in the School Assistant cadre as of 31 October 2025.

• Qualifications must conform to NCTE norms.

Salary Details

• The posts are on deputation, and salary will be as per existing government pay rules applicable to the deputed cadre.

• The approximate pay scale for government lecturers in Andhra Pradesh generally ranges between ₹15,600 – ₹39,100 per month, plus applicable allowances.

• Final pay and allowances will be determined according to government norms.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of the following stages:

1. Written Test – Subject-wise written examination will be held for eligible applicants.

2. Interview – Shortlisted candidates from the written exam will appear for interviews.

3. Final Selection & Deputation Orders – Based on overall merit and performance.

4. Joining – Selected candidates will receive deputation orders and join their assigned DIETs.
