AP High Court Civil Judge Exam Date 2025 Out for 50 Posts

High Court of Andhra Pradesh has issued screening tests and other important dates for 50 posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division) notified for the year 2025. According to the Notification issued by APHC, , the Screening Test (Preliminary Examination) for the recruitment of 50 posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division) notified for the year 2025, will be conducted on 13.07.2025 from 9.00 A.M. to 11.00 A.M. The important dates are furnished hereunder.

Applications are invited online for the recruitment of 50 posts for Civil Judge (Junior Division) in Andhra Pradesh State Judicial Service, comprising of 40 vacancies under Direct Recruitment and 10 vacancies under Recruitment by Transfer. The recruitment process shall be governed by the Andhra Pradesh State Judicial (Service & Cadre) Rules, 2007. The Pay Scale for Civil Judge (Junior Division) is Rs.77840 – 136520.

The online application portal will be available on the High Court’s official website https://aphc.gov.in from 20.02.2025 to 17.03.2025. The Last date for submission of online application is 17.03.2025 upto 11.59 P.M. No other mode of application will be entertained.

The details of examination centres will be posted on the High Court’s official website “https:// hc.ap.nic.in”. The applicants are required to visit the official website of High Court of A.P. to keep themselves updated on all the steps/results etc., until the completion of the recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria

Only those applicants who possess the qualifications prescribed under the Andhra Pradesh State Judicial (Service & Cadre) Rules, 2007, which are mentioned below, shall be eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification

Applicants applying under direct recruitment must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law awarded by any University established by Law in India.

Applicants applying under Recruitment by Transfer must possess a Degree in Law awarded by any University established by Law in India and must be a confirmed member or approved probationer in any one of the following categories.

Age Limit

To be eligible, the applicant, who is applying under direct recruitment shall not complete thirty five (35) years of age as on first day of the month (February), 2025 (as on 01.02.2025) in which month the notification inviting applications for such appointment is published in the news papers.

Selection Process

Selection will be done as per the Screening Test, Interview

For the purpose of short-listing the applicants, the High Court will conduct a Screening Test (Computer Based Test) for 100 marks comprising 100 multiple-choice objective type Questions. The duration of examination will be two (2) hours.
