AP PGCET 2025 Notification Out: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education released the AP PGCET 2025 Notification on 1st April 2025. The AP PGCET 2025 Application process Starts on April 02, 2025, through online mode. Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Engineering Test (AP PGCET) is a state-level engineering entrance exam conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on behalf of APCHE. The exam will be conducted for the candidates seeking admission to various postgraduate courses offered in the various colleges affiliated with state universities.
The AP PGCET Entrance test will be conducted online through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) from June 9 to 13, 2025.

Online Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed or appeared for the final semester (year) examination in the qualifying degree for entrance tests and admission into the first year of various P.G. Courses (M.A., M. Com., M.Sc., MCJ, m. Lib.Sc., M. Ed., M.P. Ed., M.Sc.Tech etc)offered by Andhra Pradesh State funded Universities and their Constituent / Affiliated [Government and Private (Aided/Unaided)] Colleges including Minority Educational Institutions in the State.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
To be eligible for admission into a course, the candidate
- Must have passed the Qualifying Examination as mentioned in the Information Brochure and
- Must have qualified in the APPGCET-2025 Test conducted by the Yogi Vemana University in the concerned subject in which admission is sought. For administrative reasons, the Convener may conduct the entrance test before publishing the results of the qualifying examination. But qualifying at the Entrance Test alone does not confer any right of admission into a course. In addition to being qualified at the Common Entrance Test, a candidate will be eligible for admission only if he/she passes the qualifying examination before the commencement of the admissions process. He / She must submit the necessary documents at the time of counselling.
AP PGCET 2025 Application Form
Before submitting an online application, the candidates must keep ready scanned copies of their latest passport-size colour photograph, signature, certificates of caste, income (if applicable), Aadhaar number, and PH certificate (if applicable). These scanned copies have to be uploaded while filling out the online application. The candidate has to log in to the website.

AP PGCET 2025 Exam Pattern
The entrance tests in all subjects (except M.P.Ed) will consist of 100 multiple-choice objective-type questions for 100 marks, each lasting 90 minutes, and a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Admission shall be made into M.P.Ed., course based on marks obtained in the common entrance test (Theory) conducted by the Yogi Vemana University (APPGCET-2025) and the achievements in sports during their study at Degree (Graduation) / Post Graduation / B.P.Ed./B.P.E level. The common entrance test (Theory) will be for 100 Marks and weightage of marks for sports achievement will be for 100 marks. The APPGCET-2025 test will be conducted on the syllabus of the B.P.Ed./ B.P.E. course. The question paper shall be set with 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) of 90 minutes. Each question carries one mark. The sports achievement certificates (original) will be verified and the marks will be awarded for sports achievement. Hence, the candidates should bring their original sports achievement certificates along with evidence documents like Form-I for Internationals, Form-II for Nationals and Form-III for Inter-University participants etc., on the day informed to the candidates later. The merit list will be prepared basing on the aggregate of 200 marks.
