SLPRB AP Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any subject along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a  State Act or of any  Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification. The candidates who have passed a five-year course in law after the Intermediate are also eligible.

Experience:

The candidate must have practised as an advocate for not less than three (3) years active practice in Criminal Courts in the State as on the date of notification, i.e., 04-08-2025

Age Limit

A candidate must not have attained the age of  42  years as on  1st  July, 2025 ,i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1983.

The upper age limit prescribed in Para(a) above will be relaxable as under:

• Upto a maximum of  5  (five)  years, if a  candidate  belongs  to a Backwards Class ( Non-Creamy Layer only) or a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe;
• Upto a maximum of ten years if a candidate is an Orthopedically Handicapped person;

Salary Details

Selected Candidates will get a Salary Rs. 57100-147760 (RPS.2022) Per Month as Per the Regulations of SLPRB AP. The Contributory Pension Scheme will applicable.

Application Fee

Candidates with local candidature of Andhra Pradesh belonging to OCs and BCs applying for the Post have to pay a fee of Rs.600/- towards processing of application, written examinations etc. Local candidates of Andhra Pradesh belonging to SCs and STs have to pay only Rs.300/- and all other candidates have to pay Rs.600/-.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected as per their performance in the Written Exam, Interview, Document Verification, Medical Fitness Test

SLPRB AP Assistant Public Prosecutor Written Test Pattern

Candidates will be required to appear for a written examination in two papers (each of three hours  duration). Both  papers will be  set  in  English  language only. The syllabus is given in  Annexure-1. The date of written  examination is proposed to be held on 05.10.2025 (Sunday) Paper-I from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM and Paper-II from 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM on the same day.
