APRS 6th 7th & 8th Class Admission 2026-27 for Backlog Vacant Seats: Notification has Been Released by AP Residential Society. Online Applications are being Accepted from 18 February 2026.  Details of Exam Format, Syllabus, and Eligibility are given here.  There are a total of 2920 Seats in 50 APRS Schools. The No. of Vacancies are 356. Out of which 134 Are Unreserved, 55 are Reserved for SC and 23 are Reserved for SC.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ గురుకుల విద్యాలయాల సంస్థచే నిర్వహించబడుచున్న గురుకుల పాఠశాలలో 2026-27 విద్యా సంవత్సరానికి 6,7,8 తరగతులలో మిగిలినవున్న ఖాళీలు ప్రవేశానికై ఆసక్తిగల అభ్యర్థులు దరఖాస్తులను తేది 18 February 2026 నుండి March 31, 2026 వరకు https://aprs.apcfss.in వెబ్ సైట్ ద్వారా ఆన్ లైన్ లో సమర్పించ వలెను.  ప్రవేశము కొరకు ది. Eligibility Criteria for APRS 6th,7th,8th Class Admissions 2026-27

Education Eligibility

The candidate must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh and must be studying in a recognized school within the state.

• For 6th Class: Must have studied Class 5 in 2025-26.
• For 7th Class: Must have studied Class 6 in 2025-26.
• For 8th Class: Must have studied Class 7 in 2025-26.
• The study must be in a Government or Government-recognized school in the relevant district.

Income Level

• The annual income of the student’s parents/guardians should not exceed ₹1,00,000/- for the financial year 2025-26.
• Candidates holding a White Ration Card are eligible.
• Exemption: This income limit does not apply to children of Armed Personnel (CAP category)

Age Limit

Candidates must be born between the specific dates mentioned below (calculated as of 31.08.2026) to be eligible:

జనరల్ పాఠశాలల్లో ప్రవేశానికి ఓ.సి., బి. సి. మరియు మైనారిటీ విద్యార్థులు తప్పనిసరిగా గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతంలో చదివి ఉండాలి. యస్.సి. మరియు యస్.టి. విద్యార్థులు గ్రామీణ మరియు పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో చదివినప్పటికీ జనరల్ మరియు మైనారిటీ పాఠశాలల్లో ప్రవేశానికి అర్హులు. మైనారిటీ విద్యార్థులు,

మైనారిటీ పాఠశాలల్లో ప్రవేశం కొరకు గ్రామీణ మరియు పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో చదివి ఉండవచ్చును.

ఆదాయపరిమితి :అభ్యర్థి యొక్క తల్లి తండ్రి/సంరక్షకుల సంవత్సరాదాయము (2025-26) రూ.1,00,000/- మించి ఉండరాదు లేదా తెల్లరేషన్ కార్డు కలిగిన వారు అర్హులు.

సైనికోద్యోగుల పిల్లలకు ఆదాయపరిమితి నియమం వర్తించదు.

దరఖాస్తు చేసుకొనుటకు మార్గదర్శకాలు :

1. జనరల్ పాఠశాలల్లో ప్రవేశానికి దరఖాస్తు చేయగోరు అందరు అభ్యర్థులు మరియు మైనారిటీ పాఠశాలల్లో దరఖాస్తు చేయు యస్.సి & యస్.టి. అభ్యర్థులు తప్పక ఎ.పి.ఆర్.యస్. సెట్ వ్రాయవలెను.
2. అభ్యర్థులు దరఖాస్తులను నింపుట కొరకు https://aprs.apcfss.in వెబ్ సైట్ ను సందర్శించవలెను.
3. అభ్యర్థులు దరఖాస్తులను నింపుటకు ముందు వెబ్ సైట్ నందలి నియమావళిని జాగ్రత్తగా చదువుకొని తమ అర్హతల పట్ల సంతృప్తి చెందిన తరువాత మాత్రమే దరఖాస్తులను నింపవలెను
4. అభ్యర్థి అర్హత ప్రమాణాల గురించి సంతృప్తి చెందిన తర్వాత, రుసుము చెల్లింపు లింక్ని క్లిక్ చేయడం/తెరపడం ద్వారా రూ.100/- రుసుమును పేర్కొన్న వ్యవధిలో ఆన్లైన్ ద్వారా చెల్లించాలి.
5. ఆన్లైన్లో ఫీజు చెల్లింపు సమయంలో, అభ్యర్థి అవసరమైన ప్రాధమిక వివరాలను అనగా అభ్యర్థి పేరు, పుట్టిన తేదీ, ఆధార్ నెంబర్, మొబైల్ నంబర్ మొదలై ఇవ్వవలెను.
6. ఒక మొబైల్ నంబర్ను ఒక అప్లికేషన్ కోసం మాత్రమే ఉపయోగించవలెను. ఇవ్వబడిన మొబైల్ నెంబర్, OTP ద్వారా నిర్ధారించబడుతుంది.
7. ఆన్లైన్లో ఫీజు చెల్లించిన తర్వాత అభ్యర్థి ID జారీ చేయబడుతుంది. అభ్యర్థి ID జారీ చేయడం అంటే అభ్యర్థి ఆన్లైన్లో దరఖాస్తు సమర్పణను పూర్తి చేసినట్లు కాదు. ID. రుసుము రసీదుకి సంబంధించిన నిర్ధారణ మాత్రమే.

• Fee Amount: ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only).
• Payment Mode: Online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking through the official website.

Selection Pattern

The selection of students for admission into 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th classes in A.P. Residential Schools is strictly based on Merit in the Common Admission Test (APRS CAT).

1. Merit & Reservation: Admissions are granted based on the marks secured in the entrance exam, subject to the rule of reservation (Category/Community) and local area status.
2. Tie-Breaking Rule: If two or more candidates secure the same marks, the merit will be decided in the following order of priority:
   • Marks in Mathematics.
   • Marks in Environmental Science (EVS) / Science.
   • Marks in English.
   • Marks in Telugu / Urdu.
   • Date of Birth (Older candidate gets preference).
3. Community-Based Tie Break: If the tie still persists, priority is given based on community in specific orders (ST, SC, BC categories, etc.).

Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: OMR Based (Objective Multiple Choice Questions).
• Total Marks: 100 Marks.
• Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
• Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 Mark.
• Medium of Exam:
  • For 5th Class: Telugu & English Medium OR Urdu & English Medium.
  • For 6th, 7th, & 8th Classes: Telugu & English Medium.

Note: Candidates must use a Blue or Black Ball Point Pen to darken the circles on the OMR sheet.

1. The written Test will be in English & Telugu Medium
2. Questions of Previous Class Standard will be given in Question Paper.
3. Multiple Choice Questions will be Given
4. The are a Total of 100 Questions and Each Question will have one Mark.
5. Students must Write answers in OMR Sheet
